Minecraft, a decade ago, had a killer white rabbit, complete with bloody jaws, that was VERY rare to find, and if it saw you, would attack you right away, and would kill you in one or two hits. Sadly, they removed it several years ago, but was a definite homage to the killer rabbit here.
sleeping while watching MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL😮 The Blasphemy😡
CGI was nonexistent in 1975. Special effects and real explosive devices were all that were used.
4th person never makes no reaction better
This
"Because she looks like one!" Always cracks me up
My fave is, "Who are you, who is so wise in the ways of science?"
She turned me into a newt
poor guy is super tired hahaha
This movie is HUGE with geeks and stoners back in the 70s and 80s. Watched it as kids many times and went around quoting so many parts. Even today, many of us will say "tis but a scratch" or "it's just a flesh wound" when getting hurt, "she looks like one", and of course many of the French soldier's taunts and many other lines.
Lord of Swamp Castle: "Oh, bluddy 'ell..."
Castle Guard: "Are you suggestin' that coconuts moigrate?"
Now you need to do 'Life of Brian' by the same guys. Eric Idle was friends with George Harrison of the Beatles and funded the movie and founded a studio to make it by mortgaging his house as no studios wanted to make it and George felt after reading the script that it absolutely needed to be made. It was the first movie made by Handmade Films...the last was 127 hours in 2010.
Fun fact:
This film was one of Elvis Presley fav comedy film.
When he play and train american football with his friends, he use to take a Monty Python joke from the Black knight fight and said "Is just a scratch" every time after he get ruff and get hurt on fight with the ball.
*Knight
In interviews, John Cleese mentioned that they had so little money, they couldn't afford horses, which gave rise to the coconut thing... which, ironically, they parody in the movie itself by bringing it up... lack of resources spawned one of the funniest bits in the entire movie.
Its also the reason for the ending with the cops arresting everyone it was a literal copout ending.
@@calvinheslop2585 A lot of the skits on their TV show would end with a police officer or Sgt. Major bursting onto the scene and telling them all to stop it because it's silly.
Of couse Zara has seen this movie....she is so cool !!!!!!!!
super cool, its the quiet ones you have to look out for!
I once got into a fight with a guy and after I beat him as I walked away I heard from behind me "Alright we'll call it a draw" He's been my friend going on 12 years now😂
The movie has plenty of _Special Effects_ (SFX), but it didn't have any _Computer Generated Images_ (CGI). Nor any moose.
Love this film. Interesting fact, the main investors were Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin who contributed £50,000 between them to fund the making of the movie.
He thinks this 1975 movie might be a parody of Indiana Jones..
He is uncultured
Least he knows about Raiders of the lost arc. Alot of gen z dont know about anything before 2000 😂
@@reallivebluescat I completely agree. I've seen too many reactors say "wait, he didn't get the grail?" Well, of course not. It's the Holy Grail! It's a spoof of the tale of King Arthur and his quest! How do you not know this?
E@@SuddenRealthese reactors ain't even gen z 💀
This guy was going to sleep.
Hello from a Generation X'er in northeast Ohio. It is good to see you do this one. Cheers.
The only horse seen in the movie is in the scene where Lancelot rides past and slays the Famous Historian. I'm not sure HOW many times I watched this movie before somebody in the Comments section pointed that out.
Practical effects, not CGI.
They couldn't use the Moose because the guy responsible for wiping the moose's nose got sacked.
“That’s CGI…”
What…?
Now you need to watch "Monty Python's Flying Circus", a sketch comedy series they made before Holy Grail. It's like Saturday Night Live, but good.
It was hit and miss. So is SNL, in my opinion
I'd say Life of Brian.
The capital of assyria was antioch. .. Like the hand grenade in the scene prior
Somehow every single scene in this movie is iconic.
Definitely! Each scene, in my head I'm like "Oh yeah, that part! Oh yeah, that part!.. Oh yeah, that part!"... and so on
It is the rabbit 🐇 😂
There were times the guy in shorts almost fell asleep. I also agree with @-Heavy's comments.
Great reaction as always!
The ending is a literal cop out.
First movie reaction ever to watch someone sleeping thru half the movie.
I love that the wise man who was teaching about witches and ducks, was experimenting with a swallow and a coconut at the beginning of that scene...lol
"Look at the bones!!!"
It's finally happened!!!! I didn't even realize you guys haven't done it yet
PLEASE React to these Action & Comedies or Both: Starring Chris Evans Cellular The Ringer, Date Night, Big Stan, Netflix Gabriel Iglesias: Stadium Fluffy, Netflix Jo Koy: Don't Make Him Angry, and Fire Up
The TV show is just as crazy and funny
1. What about the moose?
2. Paying attention to the opening credits makes it better for everyone, including you.
3. The first time I saw this was in the back of a pickup at a drive-in (it's still here) with my siblings and a couple of friends.
4. Perfect Monty Python where you can just get sucked into something where you don't have to think about anything and just let yourself go.
5. "What ya gonna do? Bleed on me." "we'll call it a draw"
6. Quick bit: "Blow it out your ass"!
7. The ultimate cock block
8. Robin's shield is a chicken.
9.The only horse in the film is ridden by the guy that killed the historian.
10.The ending sucked. It was a cop out. Literally
They ran out of
Jeneva should be laughing hard on this one
If I remember correctly, Assyria's capital was...Ashur?
this came out the year i was born. also it is a parody , but of the king arthur legend, not indy :)
1972!
We watched this on the big screen and John Cleese took questions after. Still funny despite being close to death (the name of his tour was “Last Chance To See me Before I Die)” 😂
1975
There is a rabbit complete with fangs and blood on the white fur in world of warcraft also at the dark moon faire
The monks that are slamming their heads with boards are them making fun of monks that would slash wipes on their backs.
Cut into such small segments this is pretty unwatchable
No sleeping in the middle!.....I saw you ;)
How about Infected that does drive cars? And shoot guns? Try “The Crazies” remake with Timothy Olephant.
You convince me that Jeneva is NOT high😂😂
They couldn't afford horses so they used coconuts.
Look up how this was made it's pretty incredible what they did for the tiny budget. Things like the book for narrating between scenes and the drawing scenes were forced by budget, but restraints often make for the most creativity.
Noticed they said no CGI for 1975, but I think they'll be surprised by the visuals and clever editing/practical stuff!
Nodding off to Monty Python.
Dude needed a nap. He was distracting.
The reason they couldn't afford any horses is because they spent all the money on CGI.....in 1975
Let's make a reaction video and edit out the best parts 😂
The Black Knight, the oppressed peasant and the rabbit/The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch are definitely the highlights for me, and Monty Python is the closest I’ll probably get to finding a religion. YES IT IS, you unbelievers!!
“The Meaning of Life” (1983) is also unmissable but “Life of Brian” (1979) is their masterpiece. Easily.
This was a lovely reaction.
*hugs*
Has anyone noticed that in the "bunny" scene the knight Bohrs' coat of arms on his shield is a flux capacitor|? Run away...
ROFL … don‘t expect CGI
What about horses? (Or the Spanish Inquisition?)
Lmao I see someone dozing off
As professional as it gets lol. Shut it off immediately
Whoever edited this should be fired lol Absolutely terrible. Left out some of the best parts of the movie and it cuts away every 3 seconds? Find someone else who knows what they're doing.
Zara! Zara!😊 Thanks so much! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
One of my favorite from childhood, love the shirt with the fire bird on it,love the reactions keep up the great work😊😅😂
Oh are you going to react to rebel moon parts 1&2???
Lots of the jokes killed in the editing.
See how many scenes RR Martin borrows
CGI ????? lol not even close
React to movie (horror story) 🇮🇳 🙏🙏
I enjoyed the reaction but too short
The cheapest film you'll ever watch but so funny.
Your not English fella, your British
general election now
Lousy reviewers, .........cut too much comedy out . On scale. 1-10. They are a 3
It’s just a very silly film 😅
Amazing video
It's not a parody of Indiana Jones. It was made long before that. Horrible editing, way out of sequence and too many people blocking the picture. Boo
Can you guy's Please Do Side 2 Side by Three 6 Mafia
Unwatchable - badly edited.
Jeneva, will you marry me?
Not the best editing i've ever seen.
NO FEET??? SERIOUSLY?!?! TELL JENEVA TO PUT HER FEET BACK IN THE CAMERA!!!
bruh
Calm.down there Quentin
Some people are here for them not the reaction.
@@scottmoquin That's cool. But to get upset about it when it's not what she's trying to offer? That's gross.
Creep
I once got into a fight with a guy and after I beat him as I walked away I heard from behind me "Alright we'll call it a draw" He's been my friend going on 12 years now😂
