Cardinal Sessions was founded in the summer of 2010. They challenge the classic music video and try to replace impersonal footage with immediate and emotional snapshots.
Bands from all over the world with their different genres present their songs reduced to the essence of the musical spectrum - only vocals and unplugged instruments. Due to the spontaneous live-aspect and the approach to record every song without any additional rehearsal, songs emerge that often sound significantly different to their album versions.
We film on locations that the musicians mostly choose by themselves: remote places, frequented streets, parks, woods, fields, bars; nothing is impossible. We have accomplished our goal if the location fits well to the background of the music we and the artists want to present. But our most important purpose is that there are no borders: we film everything that we like, no matter how popular, famous or also unknown a band might be. It is still important for us to support local talents and it will always stay part of our concept.
The Cardinal Sessions team can also be booked: for example to film short documentaries of album recordings, studio recordings or live concert moments that you want to capture.

Honestly I've been trying to formulate words to the feeling his music gives me. Everyone that surrounds him as well. You can just feel the passion in their hearts, its truly magnificent. He is saving me every single day. Goosebumps and tears through every song. This is art, this is love, this is light. I graduated high school and had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I didn’t have a plan, didn’t want to go to college. I started working a job doing maintenance at a catholic grade school to keep me busy while I figured out what I wanted to do. I woke up 27 years old stuck in that same dead end job. Still living at home, depressed beyond belief, was honestly ready to just give up. Wouldn’t say I was suicidal but I just didnt care anymore whether I lived or died. I knew something needed to change. I was working in the church one day. This song popped up in my feed. I listened to it and I can honestly say it was the catalyst I needed to change my life. It struck a chord so deep in my soul. I knew everything was going to be okay if I decided to take action. Fast forward 3 years I’m now 30, just bought a beautiful first home, engaged to the love of my life, have the most precious one year old little girl, and am a few years into a plumbing apprenticeship which is going great. The point of this is first of all to say thank you to Nakho for this incredible music. Also I want anyone out there struggling from depression to understand it can be overcome, don’t ever give up.
I listen to this whenever I'm in a funk. It's damn near impossible to be upset while listening to Nahko. Always lifts my spirits and serves as a reminder of what is really important in life. ❤

So I just did a meditation. And in my mediation I shouted out to the universe me and my children are suffering and need help. Then I prayed to my grandmother who is passed away, then I asked the universe to send me a sign that she is with me. Then this song pops up on my you tube feed and it talks about how grandmother is here and I need to persevere. Now if that isn’t awesome I don’t know what is. Praise God thank you!!!

I heard this song at the start of my big journey of doing my course and it gave me so much strength, encouragement that I must of played a hundred times whenever I felt low and even during the toughest moments, I kept my head held high. And now matter what the outcome is, I will still play it.
Even if I have to withdraw and transfer over from one place to next or one course to finish. I will finish, but I will back down.

I belive doctors should be able to prescribe this to all mental health patients this is the best sort of medicine for any one. Belive in your self and smile "the power is to be" a daily dose of his music is better then any prescribed medicines. Surround your self with genuine people also be true to one's self. I just discovered you guys a few months ago and I sat on my porch with my daughter in the cold November rain with a blanket over us and listen to this and then earbud she had one in her ear I had one in mine and she asked me is there any way you can tell them their music makes you happy because I've had four surgeries in 2 years I'm in complete menopause have to have more surgeries and I've been very sick we have Corona everything has been on our shoulders and once I found this man he changed my life
