Game is great overall but I think the open-world diminishes the quality greatly. They fill in this big world by putting in dungeons/caves/mines/etc.. that look almost identical. Bosses are reused a lot. Bosses are a lot more difficult because they want you to explore these same-y dungeons and level up. Bloodborne and the first Dark Souls are still better than it. The lore is more interesting than Dark Souls though.
shit take bruh
@@BobBobs69 If you've never played Dark Souls or Bloodborne before, sure. Both those two games are quality over quantity. My take on Elden Ring is accurate. I'd rather have quality than quantity.

Bloodborne will never be topped by anything other than a Bloodborne II and if you expected the open world souls successor to do so you were sorely mistaken
@@noobgoestrapping5084 10/10, intelligent, detailed comment. It explained exactly why I was wrong. You're right, dungeons that look the same and bosses that are exactly the same beat Dark Souls and Bloodborne everyday of the week. I'll pretend that you and everyone with your opinion has actually played those games.
Bloodborne is "cosmic horror" game in the same way Predator is a "science fiction" movie.
The imagery in Bloodborne is more gruesome than Lovecraft's painfully weak writing style so I don't see the problem. There's a reason why theres so many popular retellings of Lovecraft's work: they simply do it better. Bloodborne is included in that category imo.
@@laughingocelot2097 Lovecraft is like "lemme just describe this granite slab in microscopic detail for ten pages, oh and there's a demon or something too I dunno figure it out yourself"

Man this one didn’t age very well. Maybe edit it to remove mention of The Completionist? 😊
My friend has Levi from attack on titan for one of those mouse pads

ARGG this is is frustrating to watch! I mean I love watching Lobo's runs and I know this isn't a speedrun or super optimized run but as a heavy mage player (like level 350, on NG8+..) DAMN DUDE!!
Starts a mage, doesn't immediately get Metorite staff and Rock Sling..
Dicks around some, finally goes to Raya Lucaria for the sweet mage gear, but just kills the dog boss and leaves...
Dicks around some more, goes to Carian manor where there's also l33t mage gear, but leaves before he does ANYTHING..
Finally goes back to Raya for the talismans, grabs them but only puts one of them on... doesn't grab Azur's staff, does grab the burger king helmet, but DOESN'T PUT IT ON...
