F1 03 - F1 05 - F1 06 were incredible games for the time. I still love them to this day.

Darnswim F1 Challenge 99-02 and Championship Edition are still my favourites by far.
f1 03, 01 and 06 where very good 03 had only 1 complaint no lower than 1/3 race distance on grand prix

There actually was modulation with the brake and throttle as cross and square as the buttons were analog and pressure sensitive on ps2 and ps3.

For me its still the best F1 game and i Play it and will play it in future! The mods are awesome and everything you want to drive you can mod in the game. Dtm, Group c, Itc, Btcc and many more.

@@zevanoyaumalvasti3928 Honestly I'm not sure, I've had it for years. Just google F1C 99-02 PC download or something like that. It's a bit of a hassle to get to work on newer PCs, but perfectly doable. I've done a career from 1999-2011 in that game. It has a mod for every single F1 season ever. Getting some of em can be quite tough tho.

2002 child and I played f1 1997 as my first game I played in 2004
for a game which was released 2005, it looks actually dope and more realistic than the early Codemasters F1 games
I remember playing this when it came out. I was eagerly awaiting to get home from after school club. Intro was epic, Muse are genius.

X to accelerate was common on PS2 games. PS2 buttons were pressure sensitive. Just like they are now.
The sense of speed in this game is actually fucking unreal the reason this gameplay doesn't show it is because motion blur is turned off, on ps2 the game looks very different. When 5 year old me pressed x it felt like I was going to the next multiverse.
First F1 game I played and to this day I still love it. For it's time it was perfect.
Aarav, just a heads-up for when you eventually play F1 Championship Edition on the PS3, you can change the controller settings in the options menu. It'll break down what does what. BTW F1 06 was released on the PS2, but F1 Championship Edition (also 2006 season) was released on the PS3. Cheers mate, keep up the good vids!

This was the first game where you had no failures. I remember deliberately sitting behind Coulthards Red Bull at Aus because I swear he moved slightly in a defensive manner so thought fair enough DC place is yours.
