@@SharDarksoul Basically, yes. rFactor used and upgraded F1C engine, then rF2 used rF1's.
F1 Challenge '99-'02 is a brilliant game btw. And has mods for basically all years of F1. There is an all seasons mod I believe, starting from 1950.

I was born 1977 and the first F1 game I've played was called "Grand Prix Circuit". Maybe you can dig this out of somewhere. Beside of that I don't feel old but thankful to have now two children and a kind wife who allow me to play F1 games further and to have good memories. Even my father (aged now 71) doesn't feel to old to attend every football game together with myself and my son in green-white shirts here in Vienna. 😉 So I guess age is just a matter of relation.

I actually have the f1 2001 game on the nintendo. It was very hard to steer but after some time I was able to successfully drive it. Unfortunately I have retired the nintendo now as it clearly became a bit too old.
