I’m looking to purchase one of these as a very oversized lunchbox, and considering the price I’m trying to make sure it’s what I really want/need. You’ve got the most useful review that I have seen in a long time. I was curious how well this cooler would work with the yeti branded ice, and you have greatly helped me out, especially with the temperature checks at various times. Thank you!
Not correct. Read the website exerpt below. "The YETI Thin Ice Pack is a ground-breaking innovation designed to be nearly 50% slimmer than YETI ICE and engineered to completely replace the need for regular ice inside your Coolers and Lunch Bags."

Maybe get the 8 if you’re using as a lunchbox
Thanks for this series, really appreciate it. I was hoping for part 4 but it looks like regular ice should work great for as long as I need.
Very good test, this has helped me make a decision on my purchase.
Did you ever do Part 4? I can’t find it 🤷♂️
How long should you or what do you recommend on how long to keep it in the freezer
How many and size of your yeti ice packs are you using in your flip 12
Hey men dint you upload part 4?
Not yet mate, ended up having kids haha, I'll get round to it at some stage 😅
Part 4.... Yet Thin Ice WITH regular ice. Which is how they recommend using them... in conjunction with each other. 👍🏻

That would just be retarded. Use with regular ice completely defeats the purpose for using the thin ice.
@@BarkersBBQ Deleted my response? Nice.
@@BarkersBBQ that isn't what it says on their website.
@XploreAz it did at the time mate. I didn't just make up the exerpt above......
Bottom line is real ice works better. Not really a shocker.
