      Thank you so much.
      Our school is located in Goa. We teach regular daily classes and run residential courses for people in India and across the world.
      We had to stop almost everything cause of the lockdown so we thought we could use this extra time to build a bigger presence online.

    Was wondering about empty hands applications just the other day. This was useful ! Will need to watch it a couple more times to get a proper hang of it, but definitely useful :)
    1 question/doubt: in the second variation where you move back to push Babu's kick with your right hand and he sort of twirls around... is that advantageous from the p.o.v of throwing the opponent off balance? as in what if the kick is defended with the left hand without moving back, what would that variation look like?

      The deflection is sort of a Muay Thai type variation. The reason why you'd use this variation rather than the other arm is that this way you can get into a better, more tactically advantageous position.
      However you can use a trillion different ways of dealing with any one of these situations. Many of them might even be easier and more practical to apply.
      Here we are specifically sticking to the closed triangle format.
      Our suggestion though would be to not get to hung up on closed or open triangle footwork. Instead practicing the ranging footwork drill may be more beneficial. Thats because both your open and closed triangle footwork patterns are found within your ranging footwork drill. It's a more efficient way of practicing.
      The way we think of it here is that your ranging footwork/closed and open triangle are more for building attributes and learning angles.
      Something like diamond footwork on the other hand is a more combat oriented pattern.
      Sorry for the long rant. Hope this makes a bit of sense. Feel free to ask if you want more clarification on anything 😊

      I am a student of GrandTuhon Leo T Gaje who is the GrandMaster of this style. Pre Covid times I would travel every year to the Philippines to stay and train with him.
      Hopefully 2022 I can see him again.

      @@lighthavenindia sir please tell me how it will cost to train with grand tuhon leo t gaje for level one & and how many days it will take ?

    • @lighthavenindia
      @lighthavenindia  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The cost depends on GrandTuhon and how many days you want to train. There is no fixed number of days to get to any level. It depends on your skill and character.
