I was so close to getting Mediavine numbers and just as I was about to apply the HCU came to visit. Question, once you’re on Mediavine and traffic drops like this, do they keep you on board? I.e. do you have to stay about 50k as a minimum each month?
Which country was site targeting? It's well known that those in the US are more susceptible to ads and so ad spend if generally greater, than sites that get more of a UK audience.
Hi! Would you mind sharing your demographic of the traffics? I understand it affects a lot for the RPM. How much of US or first tier countries should I have to get accepted by them? I hear slightly different info about this online.
Neither ;-) A session is one visit which may result in one or more pageviews. A visitor is a person who may visit a website multiple times in a given period.
Thanks Carl, looks like a good move. You are comparing different seasons though, that may or may not explain part of the difference? I wonder if the majority of your visitors are from the US. From what I heard they are great for the US but Ezoic gets the most out of a mixed audience.
It was only 8 weeks ago and the traffic was higher at the time of ezoic so I thing the better season now but lower traffic will balance it out a little. But yes, there are always lots of variables to consider
Those numbers are great. So if you take a lower number of let's say $15 per 1000 sessions, you can focus on how much traffic you're going to need in order to make x amount of income. Thanks for sharing your actual numbers, Carl.
Is Mediavine easy to join for bloggers in the UK? I'm not sure how credible Mediavine is as Google and therefore Google Adsense seem more of a genuine way of making money online if that makes sense 😅
If you’re making money on your site with any ads and it’s still growing then leave them on. No ping missing out on the money. Maybe lower the number of ads and make it a better user experience but still earning some money
Ezoic are now allowing advertisers to discriminate against content creators based on their ethnicity, gender, etc. The are allowing advertisers to specify DEI. Steer well clear. I'm moving my account
Was hoping for a video like this!
Great to see actual figures! Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome. Hopefully I can share bigger ones when google shows more some love

Once you’re on you stay on as far as I’m aware.

Interesting video. How does the number of ads compare?
Less ads and better UX so far.
My website niche is news & celebrity can I apply do they accept this type of website ? I have 300k sessions per month ?
Yes I’m sure they do.
Have you tried raptive? or has anyone tried raptive? what has anyones experience been with raptive?
Not personally but I’ve heard good things. You need 100k pageviews per month I believe to join.
@@CarlBroadbent yes all ive heard is good news, they're my next goal to join
@@solairesamv that’s a good goal to achieve. Good luck
@@CarlBroadbent I will bookmark this video and come back in the future to let everyone know my results

As peak196 explained below. 👍 thanks for watching
Mediavine required google absence accounts or not ?
No
Here’s hoping there is some degree of recovery from the Google update!
I have everything crossed they will
can control mediavine ads like adsence , remove sex-ual ads , gu_mbling , .. ?

Does Mediavine allow traffic arbitrage?
Do you mean buying traffic from places like Pinterest. Facebook ? If that’s what you mean then yea I believe that’s fine
@@CarlBroadbent yes! Btw thanks

Many big bloggers use mediavine
Hi Carl do you have a registered agent, email, phone, and a real author? Just curious if you have the trust in eeat
Real authors yes, real email. No address or phone.
Congratulations- My goal is for Mediavine 2024👍Thinking for taking all ads off my website and focus on 2024 to see what happens. What do you think?

Don’t Pinterest ask that now as well ?
@@CarlBroadbent not sure. I don't really use Pinterest. It's a worrying trend if so
Ezoic is trash
Who do you suggest for people with less than 50k sessions?
