Why does my red 2.0 medium soze come with an expansion vessel? Does it have to be used

Hello Eddie,
the expansion vessel is part of the safety-group which needs to be used. It enables the pressure that is being built up during the heating of the water to escape. Should you have any other questions regarding the installation, please contact your local GROHE partner.

Hello, to clean the handle internally please remove the upper part and clean it under cold water. If that doesn't help it should be completely replaced.
