This is a new story event, it’s about Kathy and her son Toby. Unfortunately she ends up getting infected and is on a desperate run to find someone, anyone that can take care of her son before she turns into one of the monsters she fought to protect her son.
This event might have a relationship with the Tempest side story because in the Tempest where the main character is going after the medicine, after realizing someone stole the medicine in pharmacy or something it calls the store, main character is going after it, after the final catch up of that thief we get to hear the baby crying and the mother from the walkie talkie which came from the thief who stole that medicine which he needed too.
I was concluding that too but when i played it again the voices were different in walkie talkie , and on the phone she was hallucinating about that child was a mistake means he had no caring father around and she was by herself to take care of him , and in LEGACY story they didnt mention anything about toby's father so they could tie the loses but they purposely made it separate story than TEMPEST .
Me too bro. It felt like the ending of Train to Busan all over again where the father got bitten by the zombie and had to remove himself from the train even though his daughter was screaming and crying for him not to go.
for those who wondered who was talking on the telephone it was herself the zombie virus is giving her hallucinations wich in that case she only wants to find someone to take care of the baby meaning she tough there was a telephone as you can see it appeared out of nowhere and second the wires are separated or cut meaning it wasn't connected to the phone it was just blaming herself for the bite and she coulded been better i cannot blame her for the regret it also happens to me and the ending real made me struggle to hold tears into the dead really good game with a interesting stories also i think temepst is the only story with a happy ending the rest is not much ad if you say into the dead 2 3rd ending is also a happy ending in the credits you can hear the helicopter crash meaning into the dead franchise may have more why im writting this much on a telephone hallucination? bru-

This story was so hard for me to play. I literally was crying playing through it. It's way too sad for me.
