I have a password jdm snorkel on my s2000, was curious if you think your airbox mod feeding the intake box in another area would benefit the car performance wise, having two air sources coming in, or is it kind of one or the other speaking specifically to performance/power? Also emailed you about ap1 piggy back/tuning options. Being NA as well, and not being as easy to tune as an ap2, curious on options like the Karcepts/emanage combo that was produced some years back…maybe that’s an avenue you could travel to produce for customers :) I bet you would have a TON of ap1 owners beating down your door!
When it comes to Honda's its hard to find a really nice exhaust setup. This might be the ultimate along with whats out there at the moment with no-drone.
That twin loop exhaust is absolutely amazing 👏 As soon I can drop by from Europe, I'll let you know to make one for me. Really awesome work, I love it. BTW, does your VTEC kick in at 4500 rpm? Can't wait to see the Dyno results. The comparison with the white S2000 was astonishing.

This is true, I’ve mentioned this many times. Almost everything you buy from the dealership is faster than the 2000. I remember driving the S2000 in 99 and thinking how slow it was compared to my CRX at the time. I still think the turbo with 400 wheel is the way to go, but this is a different feel altogether. And it’s fun.
I want to try adding the little OEM style resonator on the HKS single to see if it kills the drone. It’s just I always get quoted like 400-500 bucks for it…
@@LHTPerformancenot really it's not as easy/cheap for the ecu situation AEM is still expensive even the old v2 The hondata conversion + install labor is not cheap either fueltech or haltech are even more expensive options And maybe after all these extra expenses make 210/220hp and 150torque if lucky Did full bolt on to my 2002 in 2013 70mm tb+ported intake,snorkel/air box mod/custom 4 inch intake pipe BC stage 2 cam + spring/ti retainer Skunk2 megapower/3 inch single exhaust AEM v2 and made 225hp and 150tq👎 For cheap easy power a 300$ k24 junkyard engine swap would make in the 250/260hp range and 180+tq with a way stronger mid range and destroy any bolt on f20/22😭 If you sell the f20/22 it could be almost a free swap
Awesome exhaust. Did you remove the clutch slip deal in the master cylinder or where ever it is? I get major slippage when shifting hard from 1st to 2nd under full throttle acceleration. Feels like the clutch slipping big time. Love the channel.
The increase power is from the Header, intake and exhaust. The gearing change doesn’t show on the dyno. The gearing definitely help go through the rpm faster and helps accelerate
Sound very closely to my Fujitsubo Legalis R I'm curious if you tested the sound with out the mid section resonator since the twin loops does a really good job at keeping down the canister muffler sound just curious if you consider it. I feel it would give it a nice throaty tone similar to the OEM exhaust with the resonator delete. Would be nice to see that option for education purposes 😂

99% of what we do is Passion based. We’re very lucky to love what we do as well as meet so many cool car people. There’s very little profit in a hand built exhaust which is why it’s part of a package. That way we make a little on other parts to balance things. Plus there’s nothing exciting about 30 hours of work to stick in box and never see it again. We’ve done about 20 S2000s in Canada, not to mention 5 turbo Insights and a K-Sight. We’re worth the drive 😉
I know that this is for the S2000 so a 3000$ exhaust has a market but i just wish someone would offer something similar for the Na Miata, my days of fart cannons are long gone but my pursuit of lightness is still going strong
There’s no way we can justify it. It will be sold as part of the package and built to the car. We can offer it in stainless or titanium. Once we’ve done the package on the white car we’ll know more on the pricing. If I don’t think it’s worth it, we won’t offer it. I won’t sell something I wouldn’t buy myself.
Nice gain Normally you can't change the location of the catalytic converter and still be legal I would say even swapping the stock cat with a aftermarket high flow one is not legal technically
The white one makes around 210 whp with stock gearing. The red one makes 240whp with shorter gearing. If you drive them back to back it’s very noticeable
Too quiet. You either get loud and drone, or quiet with no to minimal drone. I actually found that switching to a high flow cat instead of catless downpipe on my 2.4L Accord had minimal drone and was great when cruising. I since cut the 2nd cat off so it's a lot louder and got some drone again only on throttle.

The comparison with the white S2000 was astonishing.
Because of the header we make a lot more mid range. The Vtec change over is 4500rpm as it has the smoothest cross over.

We actually changed the slave to an AP1.

At this point I’m happy with the sound. As the mufflers break down it will get a little louder.

It benefits from all the components working together. A tune is a must to take advantage of the header

It’s makes more power and a 1/3 of the weight. Plus has a little more sound without being annoying.
