I actually found the show a little bit darker in tone and themes. It explored drug abuse, body modifications, power, greed, corruption, and Batman even killed several of his villains. There was definitely some high schooly bits in it due to his age, but it was still a very edgy series. I'm glad it's still popular! It lives on in comics, and hopefully a movie one day :). I'll agree that it isn't as good as BTAS though - but I don't think anything will be. That show is a gem.

We did, the ratings just didn't hold up well overall. If it's not making them more money, it's not gonna work out long. That's the sad truth of why we got so many Teen Titans GO seasons. It's bingeable, low hanging fruit that works for children.
I always loved how the inside of terrys batmobile was just blaring with red light, it was legit badass like a bat sitting in darkness or something it just makes cutting to him when he’s sitting in it look so interesting.
Fun Fact! The Batmobile Beyond interior was designed to be largely unreadable to anyone else inside it that didn't have the light filters in Batman's mask. This is shown in the series when the two idiot jokers steal the thing but can barely even fly it cause they can't figure out the controls because they can't see any labels or indicators without the optical filters.

I thought the costume was the coolest fucking thing I had ever seen, I even hoped they would make a tv-series of this. Terry is so different, yet so simililar to to bruce. He's more down to earth for the most part. But he also a complex side to him and was an excellent detective like bruce.

Oh my god, before I got into DBZ, this was my favourite show EVER. So many memories... But I live in Scotland, so we rarely get things like this. And our version was only on at 6am and heavily censored, and they had renamed it "Batman of the Future" for some reason... Its like our version of DBZ Kai had no blood (which was replaced by the characters leaking what looked like carrot juice) and a crappy dub...*sigh* Scotland just can't seem to get it with these shows. But, really, I think they need to start showing this again. It took up so many hours of my life and in my opinion is one of, if not THE best incarnation of Batman. I fucking love this show

Oh god, Sonic Underground. Now THERE'S some nostalgia. My boyfriend and I still sing it XD But the thing that kept me interested in TV was DBZ Kai. The dub was awful (apart from Frieza's voice, he sounded 10 times better than the original), the censorship was awful, and they didn't ever air the Buu saga. But, it being my first look at DBZ, I loved it. Then I bought the entire show on DVD for 45 pounds and realised how shit Kai was XD DBZ is my favourite Anime, but jeez, Kai, you can do better than that...

In my opinion, as much as I love all the Robins, Terry makes the best Batman. He may not be as talented but definitely has Bruce’s heart & bravery.

If I could pick any theme song for my life I'd pick this one just because.
Oh my god, before I got into DBZ, this was my favourite show EVER. So many memories... But I live in Scotland, so we rarely get things like this. And our version was only on at 6am and heavily censored, and they had renamed it "Batman of the Future" for some reason... Its like our version of DBZ Kai had no blood (which was replaced by the characters leaking what looked like carrot juice) and a crappy dub...*sigh* Scotland just can't seem to get it with these shows. But, really, I think they need to start showing this again. It took up so many hours of my life and in my opinion is one of, if not THE best incarnation of Batman.

paul duncan Ack, you have it way better than us though...I stay in England regularly (half English, got alot of family in York. I was also born in London...) And your version of Cartoon Network, Kix AND Boomerang are MUCH better in terms of shows. All we get is Johnny Test, Clarence and Uncle Grandpa...all of which are utter shite.
Catty Hopeflyte Haven't watched Clarance (Hear it's a nostalgia trip show, but idk), and couldn't stand the one episode of Uncle Grandpa I watched. (I like random, but, It's just TOO random) But even still, we have to wait ages for stuff to get here. Hell, it takes about a year for a new season of MLP to be played out of order on Pop or Tiny Pop. (Used to watch Pop all the time. One of the few genuine fans of Sonic Underground. Hell, I STILL know the lyrics to the theme. If only they hadn't fucked up Knuckles.)
Oh god, Sonic Underground. Now THERE'S some nostalgia. My boyfriend and I still sing it XD But the thing that kept me interested in TV was DBZ Kai. The dub was awful (apart from Frieza's voice, he sounded 10 times better than the original), the censorship was awful, and they didn't ever air the Buu saga. But, it being my first look at DBZ, I loved it. Then I bought the entire show on DVD for 45 pounds and realised how shit Kai was XD DBZ is my favourite Anime, but jeez, Kai, you can do better than that...

Holy crap, I LUV Batman Beyond!!!! I am a HUGE fan of Batman and he is THE one I look up to, this NEEDS to happen in live action because it would be bloody AMAZING!!!
