I love this rig. I catch lots of Black Sea bass using it after watching this video a year ago. Great content.

One of those squid rigs above the typical bucktail could be great because you get the presentation of the jig and the squid might be better than the usual teaser because it's bigger. I'd try it from the piers.

We use both 4 and 5 inch skirts.

Believe it or not I came up with the same rig lol. Damn I should’ve patent it.
Do you have to use a needle to thread the teaser on if you cut tip off will it compromise the squid teaser ?
You don't need the needle but it does make it a lot easier and it also keeps the squid teaser tight on the loop.
