"why didn't I play it 4-5 years earlier" (i've told HORDES of people they would feel the same thing if they ever tried it) and that it was one of the best games ever made. One of the first truly high quality, cinematic level story games. Not to mention, when such a great story has such great music backing it the result is legendary. Love the mashup.

Especially when with Abby and her loser friends. And even thought I hate her, Abby's VA did Ana amazing job. The harassment she got was not deserving.
I remember watching someone play last of us 1 when it first came out.And in the first 15 min i was crying when the lil girl got shot.I never cried to any video game and i played a shit ton of games , but this game got me crying in the first 15 min.The writing the voice acting was that good.It ahs to be one of the best singleplayer games and it will stay like that for a veeeery long time.
oh you should hear the other OSTs, they're amazing. The Last of Us has arguably my favorite videogame soundtracks. i recommend listening to (The Last of Us theme, Vanishing Grace, The Choice, The Path *A New Beginning*) they're all amazing

I love this. I don't remember when All Gone plays in The Last of Us, but Frank's Choice is hard to forget, if you've ever watched the first season of The Punisher on Netflix. All Gone depicts the loss of everything. Security, life, livelihood, peace, and the other depicts how for Frank, all those things were placed in his family, and when he lost them, he also gained something. The ability to be who he has always been. His home is a brutal, fatalistic, nightmare, where killing and death are basically the only constants. The scariest thing about him is he thrives in that place, and he doesn't wish to leave, not even for the ones he loves. It's odd, but he'd probably feel like the world made more sense if he was in the situation of The Last of Us. The only difference between him and Joel too, is that Frank will never soften. He has a soft spot for the defenseless, but he's mostly looking to kill the monsters. Whatever form they come in. Joel just wanted to survive, become cold and distant, but Frank was always that creature. This mashup is a wonder. Thanks, even if this is five years later.

I get up so bewildered I'm pondering the 'great mystery' - "how can a switch from violin to acoustic qualify as a 'drop' - bc I just got DROPPED and it clearly has the same fx?" Then I realize what happened, turn to Frank and Joel and say .... "um Mr. Badasses could you...uh...um... BEAT THE $$$$ out of me once more PLZ. Sorry to bother you." And then ofc I think, whoever realized the synergy also deserves a lot of credit for their perspicacity.
