    I bought the Weekender black leather and it is an excellent travel bag. I've used it for many four day trips and no problem for me concerning the weight. It is an investment I'm proud to own.

    Good looking suit there, love the texture and color. Interesting detail having a peak on a single, looks sharp.
    When I had to have a suit on a trip, I just wore it with loafers. ;p

    I got my own hook and Albert because of your recommendation Kavalier. You are 3 for 3 on the recommendations you make that I buy and I totally agree with you!! The Greats, Hook and Albert and Beckett Simonon. I will always heed your advice from now on my friend. Thank you!!! Very pleased with the bag.

    It didn't look like it fitted correctly at the lower side of the suit. Up until what size of a suit the garment Weekender can hold? And I mean, without wrinkling the end of it. Thanks

    I have done a lot of research on the h&a weekender. And a lot of reviews says its very heavy when packed all the way. When travelling far, It'd be cool if there was like away to slide it onto the handle of a roller luggage/carry-on. Because just laying the straps over the handle will not be secure enough i imagine, if just rolling around it will fall off. Can you confirm any of these things? The weight? How travel friendly it is? short trips. Long international trips. Heavy carrying public transit. Etc. Much appreciated!
    Also stuck between this model and their carry-on garment bag. Like the carry-on, but it is small, and doesnt have 4 way spinning wheels.

    • @AlvieeG
      @AlvieeG 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I took mine to Tulum mexico for over a 2 week trip...it was heavy especially when traveling to other terminals...however I just used my wife's carry-on with wheels and I was able to use one of the handles and wrapped that around the pull handle of the roll away bag. Without that you would be stuck carrying the bag over your shoulders...and when traveling far away on long trips...that will definitely leave bruises on your shoulders...I know I had a few...this is a very nice and sturdy bag to have...and I've used it almost every other weekend on weekend getaways. But for long trips...you have to make sure you are packing the right way...or it will definitely be burdensome. I recommend the Hook and Albert Packing cubes as well.

    I use Tumi mainly, but recently bought a satchel and page brief
    I am looking for a weekender and was considering this bag, one from Carl Friedrik, or another Tumi
    I’d be interested to hear your thoughts

    How do you think about garment bag for 1 week trip vs. alum roller (where you have to either wear your suit or fold it up)... will you do a video on that debate... maybe a pros/cons video

  • @aldoileanumeliber

    imho this works for lesser material suits. if you would wear fine wool suits, it would get such bad wrinkles that it would be a nightmare to iron them only at a professional cleaner.

    Any worry that it is only top grain leather not full grain like satchel and page at the same price?

    • @The_Kavalier
      @The_Kavalier  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, the feels much better than typical top grain & after speaking to Satchel and Page founder if it was all full grain this thing would weigh 10lbs which is why the S&P bag is a lot of canvas. I’ll have the S&P bag next week and do a video comparing them as well as Tumi and Samsonite 😄

    good concept but I am a taller fellow and my suits are too big and I cannot see myself stuffing an expensive suit like that. Hook and Albert, you fail to accommodate the big and tall and you fail to mitigate the squishing sleeves. Nice try though.

    • @The_Kavalier
      @The_Kavalier  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you have a brand that accommodates larger sizes? I am putting together a guide for these

    • @TheLeadEagle
      @TheLeadEagle 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use my time large wheeled garment bag. It accommodates my needs because I HATE slinging things on my shoulders. I can wheel it and it save out on breaking a sweat with the weight. Plus the tumi large wheeled garment bag is super spacious. YES, it is huge and may be an overkill. I am not obese. I am a former football player so I am 56L. When you are working with Tom Ford, Kiton, Brian I suits etc, you really want to pamper the shoulders and try not to compress them etc. Not saying I own all of these brands, but I do own a couple. They are investments. Just my thoughts, and they are worth about the cost of a cup of coffee.

    • @The_Kavalier
      @The_Kavalier  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheLeadEagle Thank you for the thoughtful reply! I agree, I pamper my Articles of Style suit like I do my children. I will highlight Tumi as accommodating larger suits in the roundup. Should be up end of October!

    Don't buy!! Hook & Albert has no customer support. Bought the same bag in 2021, used it twice, zipper broken. Emailed customer support three times in two weeks, but still have not heard back from them. Wasted money. Do not recommend
