Pure class from the Lone Ranger
Original microphone champion!
One love and blessings living legend
Simply one of the greatest DJs in Jamaican music history.
He was the one who bridged the gap between the Roots era (late 1970s) and the Dancehall era (early 1980s). It was really Lone Ranger and Yellow man as well as Josey Wales, Charlie Chaplin and Brigadier Jerry who dominated the charts and the dancehalls as DJs on that period.
Love Ranger top 7

Loved this interview 💗 His voice is as melodious as it was 40 years ago. 🔥
This is who king yellow man copied voice style everything
After the first batch of DJs King Stitt, U Roy to Jasbo. Dillinger was the Superstar then there was Brigadier Jerry, Josie Wales, Charlie Chaplin, Sassafras, Toyan n General Echo in the Dancehall but Michigan & Smiley, Lone Ranger and Yellowman was the Superstar in the Reggae Dancehall Music in the late 70s to 80s. Lone Ranger is an Extremely Unique Talent. Intelligence plays a great roll in his career. Great Memories of his Associates, Work and time in the Business.
Toyan was a sing jay
@@prhayz1 : toyan was a deejay not a singjay
@@mystic7579 You are absolutely correct. For a moment I was thinking Little John.
Brigadier was popular in dancehall settings. Back in the cassette days, Brigy was king. But he was not popular in the wider society.
Don't forget Ranking Joe on Ray symbolic.

I just heard a interview with teach them..lone ranger.. dance hall DJ.. from u Roy these are the people who started this... now it's international... now rap is the biggest thing... looking all these rap artist they're making millions.. while the original DJ who set the foundation for rap don't get credit... I'm talking about from Jamaica to the Bronx and the rest is history.... Jamaican DJ all they ever is to make a name ... right now it's time for the international community to give respect and recognized where it all started..
Love the history bring back how me love d music..swear..

Nuff respect teach dem .would love to here something from jah thomas
Can't wait to see Teach dem thing in a settings like breakfast club. This thing is so unique, no current or "hot" artiste and the thing still a shot
What about the artist career getting a boost also and not just "teach dem"only benefiting ?Are these interviews helping the artist financially or just teach dem TH-cam money going into his pocket .Most of these veterans not making money.Vlad tv is helping the people career he interviewed,is "teach dem"channel people the artist career or just exposing their lives to people to judge them...Teach dem is growing financially, can the artist say the same?
Vloggers and scammers are the new form of scamming.Vloggers relying on strangers to get them rich by subscribing to listen to people business that's most time already in the news media...
You rite but lots of time the artist is busy and can't reach teach so that why teach go to them instead of them coming to him
