She would be a bit disrespectful to be a grammar police when in fact shes there to do an interview. I for one love me patwa so much dat I care less of the Queens standard. My patwa is just part of my identity and as most Jamaican living abroad knows that our patwa and our accent is what people love. LOL

As a child i never liked the "Bounty Killer persona" as an artist.
I felt he was arrogant, cross, angry and too much of a gangsta.
I acknowledged though that he was lyrical and very talented. How he comes across in his craft was very commanding and confident but i just never liked the bad man image.
It took me years to give this gentleman a listen and i can report that my view is the opposite right now.
He's a genius. He has grown in wisdom and maturity way beyond expectations.

Bounty where do I begin, you are amazing. If earlier in my years in Jamaica someone told me I would sit and listen to an entire bounty interview I would say they are lying, you are an inspiration, growth is everything, very impressive, love it !!!!

In all honesty, growing up i never understood his character as an artiste. Then that changed when i left the ghetto and saw his value from a 3rd person perspective, it changed me. He's the greatest gem in dancehall as an artiste and influencer of all time. Hits, Chart toppers, artiste fellowship, personal growth, chief, leader, follower, son. I appreciate his acceptance of true responsibility. He figure something out and the formula has value to this day.

I remember the first time seeing the Killer at Albion Primary School in Montego Bay when he was doing his school tour and dishing out checks to school all over Jamaica. I become a fam from that day and I never looked back. No other artist in my generation had a genuine love for the less fortunate. He wasn't professing Rastafarianism love just pure humanitarian love that's why some of your greatest hits are those that resonate to the poor. I wish you all the best, Mr. Rodney.

This is one of the most impactful interviews I've watched for 2020. Rodney is a teacher! He has given us so many life lessons that we need to practice and hone. Wow! He is a legend! He has grown so much over the years. He has found himself and in that process has touched many lives. Big up Yendi for this! Thanks Rodney! I love this interview. Soooooo refreshing. We get to know who these entertainers are outside of the stage performance. Their resilience and humility. When Bounty said, 'ten Buju, five Bounty, fifteen Beenie, ten Spragga...it was music and fun...' shows another sphere of entertainment in those days. Good to see him in a different platform to understand his journey. Kudos Bounty and thanks for yet another epic interview Yendi!
I felt so relieved hearing him say it because many of these artistes do not want to say they were influenced in such a way...as though it will diminish their talent...loved his overall honesty.
He's certainly mature and the youths can definitely take a page out his book. Respect Sir.
