Personally, I'd have wanted more furniture in that space. That aside, the balcony areas with the potted plants/trees were a nice touch. The bees were a surprise. 🍯🐝
I like the slat skylights as a point of difference. The most comfortable and interesting spaces for me are the balcony and bathroom because of the greenery. Where are the dining chairs kept? I have a sneaky suspicion that there are more furniture and furnishings hidden in the floor to ceiling storage. Hint: family dinners. The primary bedroom is definitely unfinished. I'd be sleeping on the chaise in the living area. Another person would sleep on the outdoor seteè - just bring it inside 😅 A beehive at a balcony of a condo complex is asking for trouble. The apartment has so much potential to be comfortable and beautiful.
Actually my grandma uses floor mattress all the way until late 80s, only in the couple of year she switched to a bed frame. Staying on the floor helps us to use all the necessary muscles that we often neglect with our modern sedentary lifestyle!
Haven't seen a place with less furniture than this one. It's actually an art gallery.. Even for 2 people , there aren't 2 chairs by the dining island.. Wonder the removed sone pieces of day to day in use furniture for this video shoot.
At what point does minimalism tip into oddly empty? All power to the couple pushing their aesthetic but I imagine I won’t be the only one asking “oh, still shopping for furniture huh?” if one visits.
no, you're not the only one asking. also when you make a place so minimal, every little crooked line screams at you its presence. in this case, I couldn't ignore the uneven skylight grill in the ceiling. one line is much narrower than the others and it's an OCD recipe for a disaster. I agree this is totally subjective but this space feels like an apple store and not a cosy home. this space's personality has no personality.
Depending where you are coming from but definitely not the case every where, I would probably think the opposite for the maximalist style! People get inspired from different things I do personally like clean minimalist spaces with no obstructions, helps you think feel eased and not overwhelmed especially on smaller spaces!
@@vegancrispbacon254 what’s anything to do being educated. I am not an ID and I pay him to design a new home. If I want it to be empty like this home, just buy a new launch, get it painted and ta da, what you get in the vid.
Love the interior design and decoration of the whole apartment except for the bedroom, which is literally empty (or did I miss a potted plant in there?) . Hate the idea of having to pull out my bed and set it up on the floor whenever I feel sleepy, which is not only at night.
Lovely spatial design. Lovely video. Is there any chance you might consider zooming in closer to both the original and the new plans? I'm watching on my phone and need a few seconds close up to properly appreciate the creative details. The decorative, "artist's tabletop" view is too 'zoomed out' for real appreciation. Apologies for mentioning. Thoroughly enjoyable presentation otherwise. G Ire ('eye-brain nerd' 😆)
In eastern cultures, beds were never supposed to be spread in the daytime. Even for a nap, one just lies down on a mat or a bench, never onna night mattress. They are rolled up and stacked away after getting up in the morning. If one grows up with this lifestyle, it never seems to be a chore and often it gets done in a jiffy. Also with multigenerational living, there will be more people in the house so it was impractical to keep that much square footage locked up throughout the day.
wait a minute , a bed in the master bedroom took to much space???? your house is 121 m2 and no children, and your kitchen should have been Scandinavian with built in fridge for minimalism , one thing i like is the light
Yeah. The logic behind the bed is really odd. It's a bedroom. Unless it's a multi-function room, I don't see any reason why a bed "consumes space". Even then, there are better options than a futon depending on the concern for the usage of the space (i.e. more storage, transform to office, etc.). I guess art collecting and making the house look more like a gallery is the main priority.
1300sqft for 1pp living, I wish I am that rich 🤣. In Hong Kong, I need 1 million USD cash and 6.5K salary to buy that kind of house and it is far away from any metro stations.
I love your house and minimalism but my goodness I’m sure your corgi is potty trained, but I was so nervous when he was on top of your floor mattress…🫣
Having to prepare the bed every night is too tiring, a murphy bed might be a better option. Nevertheless, this house does set the golden standard for minimalism.
I have mixed feelings about this “minimalism”home that seems to suggest how a minimalist home will look like in the 70s. The aesthetics from the choice of the furnishings to the placement of the potted plants has an old-school feel that seems dated and boring. This is morbid minimalism to aptly put it🙄
It’s too antiseptic and cold looking for me. It does indeed look like a gallery or art instillation, but I want a house that feels like home. I would need some creature comforts. I don’t like lots of clutter everywhere, this level of minimalism would be far too extreme for my tastes. It’s ideal for someone who likes taking everything to its limits.

the dog is just happy to be there
это лучше,чем супруга))
awwww....he so cute
Extreme minimalism. My favorite part is the balcony with plants, trees, and bees ... the only thing that felt alive in this sterile home.
The greenery does bring life 😊
I like this space. The muted colors bring a relaxing mood or vibe to this space.
Glad you're feeling the chill vibes! Muted colors do set the tone!
The trees against the balcony is a very nice touch
It does give off a natural vibe to the home 😊
as someone who loves more natural lights, this is actually well done! it doesnt even look like one room
Yes 🙌 Natural light is flowing throughout the home
Simplicity is sometimes the highest form of sophistication.
Absolutely! Elegance often lies in simplicity.
Just casually we have bees in our house. Oh just by that potted tree there.
haha, great convo starter :))
I'm just here for the dog, honestly. Corgis are the bomb.
More StackedHomes with pets please! Maybe just the pets?
Haha StackedPets does have a ring to it? 😂
"tatami mats are more comfortable that conventional beds" - said no-one who ever had sex on one.
Well, comfort takes different forms for different moments!😬
Personally, I'd have wanted more furniture in that space. That aside, the balcony areas with the potted plants/trees were a nice touch. The bees were a surprise. 🍯🐝
A bit of nature's buzz to spice things up! 🐝

A beehive at a balcony of a condo complex is asking for trouble.
The apartment has so much potential to be comfortable and beautiful.
I agree.
I like how he just casually added that there were bee hives in the trees 😂
It's a wonderful surprise? 😅
Nice and clean. Just mindful when getting up from the tatami at middle age.
Absolutely, mindfulness is key! Glad you appreciate the clean design!
Actually my grandma uses floor mattress all the way until late 80s, only in the couple of year she switched to a bed frame.

That beehive would terrify me everyday
Understandable! Nature has its surprises! 😁
i have a small beehive on my balcony. theyre chill and never sting me while i grill.
I really like cosy vibes and an art gallery feel.
Is keeping bees so close dangerous tho? 🤔
Thanks! As long as you don't disturb the bees, you'll be fine 😊
Such a cute pup.
Pupper stole the show 💯
Looks so small for 121 m². Did they count the terrace into it 1:1? Even then...
Haven't seen a place with less furniture than this one. It's actually an art gallery..
Even for 2 people , there aren't 2 chairs by the dining island..
Wonder the removed sone pieces of day to day in use furniture for this video shoot.
An art gallery with all of four paintings...
watch the cave episode. at least this one still looks like a home albeit minimalist
Very tranquil indeed, this space cleanses one's palate.
There are furniture pieces hidden away. The dining chair pops up and disappears from view. The floor to ceiling storage is probably fully stacked.
It's a minimalist masterpiece! 😊
7:20 there is what now? O.o
Refrigerator-Door- Direction is a shame for an architect!
At what point does minimalism tip into oddly empty? All power to the couple pushing their aesthetic but I imagine I won’t be the only one asking “oh, still shopping for furniture huh?” if one visits.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Exactly my thoughts.
It's a delicate balance! Embracing the art of less can spark curiosity.

Why do ppl need so much furniture and things. Im always figuring out what to throw out

ID job damn easy. With minimalist, only need to get the color right.
lmao. get educated.
It's all about nailing those minimalist vibes! Simplifying with style!

Doggo on top 🔝
I love your style 😺 Could you tell me the material of the floor? It looks so nice.

Maybe the homeowners are used to having a set up routine 😊

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the presentation! 😊
beautiful home, but calling that an "art gallery" is being very generous haha. A very minimalist collection, I guess.
A minimalist approach to curating! Appreciate the perspective! 😊
To each his own. And it must calming to live there. But I won’t be sleeping on the floor.
Calm vibes indeed! Well floor sleeping isn't for everyone. 😊
I love this calming Design. ❤
Such a serene escape! ❤
Natural light at the corridor ❤
Isn't it lovely? Natural light makes all the difference! ❤
make the bed every night and morning ? Isn't bedroom is for putting a bed?

It's all about that daily ritual! 😊 Some people don't mind doing this everyday
I think this guy just moved in. A joke. It is a very lovely home. Minimalism done right. 😻
Thanks! We’re glad you like the minimalist vibe-keeping it simple 😊

It's got such a great vibe! 😊
I would have liked some talk of cilantro.
Beehive jump scare😨
Lol sorry about that 😂
is the flooring micro cement or something similar?
0:47 I guess the corgi came with the house...
Oh how I wish all houses come with a doggo 😆
He is so gorgeous, so glad I found him ♥️♥️
So sweet! Glad you found him too! 😊
This would make a great bachelor pad
It does! Perfect for a bachelor 😊
can i know what kind of flooring is that?
4:36 where I can get that calendar?
1300sqft for 1pp living, I wish I am that rich 🤣. In Hong Kong, I need 1 million USD cash and 6.5K salary to buy that kind of house and it is far away from any metro stations.
Space and location do make a big difference! Thanks for sharing your perspective! 🤣
Bee hives ? 😮
Yes 🐝 Way to go for keeping them alive 🙌
I love your house and minimalism but my goodness I’m sure your corgi is potty trained, but I was so nervous when he was on top of your floor mattress…🫣
Cute corgi but fingers crossed for that mattress! 😬

Great point about the bed! A Murphy bed could be a game-changer. Thanks for the compliment on the design! 😊
What kind of plants are these
Sibu represent!
This is a good design 👍, because no wall is painted black.
i mean that's just your opinion
Glad you appreciate the design choice! It's all about the balance of light and colour! 👍
There was once mushroom growing in the bedroom's balcony
Nature's surprises!
oddly, this minimalist space feels small for its 121 sqm.
Maybe that's why they went with a minimalist approach, to make it feel open 😊
ok I've actually never seen a dog this zen lol
Right? That dog seems perfectly at peace with its surroundings! 🙌
Here because the lounge sofa caught my attention, otherwise nice place but unexceptional
The lounge sofa really can be a focal point in a space. 😊
I worry about the safety of their visiting friends and relatives
How so? 😊
💗💗💗

It's definitely a bold approach to minimalism, and not everyone's cup of tea. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 😊
I have hornet hive in my roof terrace
That's a bit scary 😨
why put black tape over the shirt
one-bedroom apartment, 1300 sqft
hmmmm, ok
bees? really?
Bees do a lot for the world 😆
mas nagulat ako sa mga bubuyog
🐝
This is an empty house not a minimalism
Minimalism taken to its purest form here. 😉
0:19 Looks like a doctor's surgery.
I believe creating a calm and warm vibes at home can be intentional. 🤍🌿
Absolutely! It was designed with such intention 😊
Quite like the calm space. Though my enjoyment of the video was lessened by the narrator’s poor English and pronunciation.
I respect mimimialism, but this looks like they moved in 2 hours before the video lol.
It does have that "just moved in" vibe (in a good way)! 😊
Nice place boring space
Different interiors for different people 😊 This might be a minimalist dream for some
Juliana is getting very hot!❤
