Devkund Waterfall Trek (JULY 2021) | How to go to Devkund Waterfall from Pune | Monsoon treks#1

Devkund Waterfall is the best place to visit during monsoons due to its divine beauty and serenity. Devkund waterfall is located at a distance of about 110 kms from Pune and about 170 kms from Mumbai. Bhira, Patnus is the base village for the Devkund waterfall trek. If you are commuting via public transport , you can take a state transport bus to Bhira village . If you are planning to driving to the base village , reach the Bhira dam or the Tata Power House Dam. We came to Bhira via katraj to Chandni chowk to Tamhini ghat route . The route itself is filled with a natural beauty , fog covered green lush mountains , lot of waterfalls making their way through these mountains and great weather , what else do you need to start an awesome trek to Devkund.
Devkund Waterfall is the confluence of three waterfalls and is said to be the origin of the Kundalika River. Devkund literally means "the bathing pond of Gods" and it is considered sacred by locals. It is a short trek approx of 2 hours (one way) and One has to trek for approx 7 kms to get to the waterfalls. While trekking you will enjoy the spectacular view of Bhira dam , Kundalika river and Andharbhan Jungle.
