Good Idea. it will defnitely enhance the local environment by helping in the development of local fauna and flora. I am not sure 2 to 3 buckets(40) lt. per sec of water will reach kathmandu city in dry season. This much of water may easily go to recharge the ground water table in the river bed because the river is almost dry in dry season if there would not be any sewage discharge into the river. If the studies show that we can see the water will be flowing in the river by letting in this much of discharge, no one can deny. We in the city area are eagerly waiting to see the clean water flow in the Bagmati River both in dry season and in wait season.

8 years ago i went to chisapani passing through this place it was heaven but recently this project has destroyed the natural lake.

feasibilty and environmental studies must have taken earthqyakes into account? The changing rain patterns with climate change with supra heavy cloudbursts? looking at melamchi and how these things were not thought of two decades ago makes me a bit wary about what will happen if there is unprecedented rainfall or even a rain and earthquake combo... if the dam does spill over.. which settlements in kathmandu side, indrawati side should be on alert of this fact?
Really interested the great thing about nepali and Nepal future. Same to be developed in other areas of Nepal.
