I am a Thar CRDe owner. I need to tackle off roads daily in all seasons.
I can tell you this slush is not that easy. I would think twice to put my Thar in that slush. I am actually surprised to see the performancs of Grand Vitara AWD.
Vitara me 4 low nahi hai chalo maan liya. Par bhai 4 low kitni jagahonpe humko kam ata hai ? Mera pas ab 6 saal ho gaye Thar hai. Mujhe sach me 4 low ki jarurat jyada se jyada 3-4 bar padi hai. Baki to mai bas aise hi maje karne ke liye stiff chadhai pe 4 low dalta hu. Dusra rasta hote hue bhi jan bujh ke maje ke liye hard rasta leta hu.
Real life me 4 low ka jyada kam nahi padta.
I am thinking about selling my Thar and buy Vitara AWD.

@@aarashingame the same allgrip system is used in this car bruh.. Toyota took the Allgrip technology from suzuki. And Suzuki took the full hybrid tech from Toyota and it's their collaboration. Get your facts first before commenting anything. In fact, this Toyota AWD hyryder is just a rebadged suzuki grand vitara. Both are just the same car.

Now, Toyota lacks the same safety and build quality as before. The after-sales services are very poor, and the maintenance cost is very high. Every time there are some issues with my Fortuner, it ends up spending more time at the service center.
Both are essentially the same car, only the logo and name are changed:
Suzuki Baleno -> Toyota Glanza.
Suzuki Grand Vitara -> Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder
Suzuki Invicto -> Toyota Innova Hycross
Suzuki Ciaz -> Toyota Camry
Suzuki Ertiga/XL6-> Toyota Rumion
Safety & build quality wise Toyota is more ahead of Suzuki. Toyota customers never comlain about after sales. Suzuki cars are responsible for death on roads. And ciaz & Camry are different car.

Fortuner having tons of issues ? 😂 . Ofc 6th owner car will have some or the other issues. Ours didnt spend even a day at the service centre. Only regular service was needed. Baleno is actually improved so it makes sense for them to rebadge it and keep themselves in the market rather than shutting shop.
Awd system in hyryder is very poor 🤨. Duster had much³ better system than it💯.

Hyryder is Grand Vitara, so it has All Grip Select awd system, which mechanically is the same as in Duster, but Suzuki has much smarter control software.
duster awd and then comes skoda yeti 4x4 but ground clerance is low i think.....

actually there is you did not get what he said .......in AWD the sensors decide which tire should get most traction ....mostly monocorque construction instead of ladder on frame , the approach , departure and breakover angle is better in 4x4 suv ,also 4x4 has solid built and go anywhere capability.......you should watch videos of 4x4 and awd suv vehicles for more clarity.....

Gncap is a fraud agency tbh. Only sponsored tests get good results. 5 star gncap scorpio got 0 stars in ancap . Even if ADAS was there it would have got only 1 star because it provided only 40% adult protection. While jimny provided 78% adult protection. All PATA cars real results will be known only if a trustable agency tests it
