I agree that rust is important and is a enemy of metals like iron...but will the aerosol spray can bear the heat of the silencer.....because i am having honda unicorn 150 old model and therw is a rusting where the silencer joins the head of engine and majority of the main pipe is rusted......so please tell me that if this spray would hold the heat ?

Better to use epoxy primer and apply enamel paint over it of desired color. Using brush. Lasts forever.
