The part where you enter the specific path of AX.25 nodes to reach your destination reminds me of the early days of email/ARPAnet in the early 80’s when you used bang(!) addresses to specify the specific list of email servers to reach your destination. It also could take hours for your email to reach its destination because most servers passed email every few hours.
Thank you for another great video. I'm always on the lookout for technologies that could have significantly improved the Helene response in WNC. This could have been a game-changer if more hams knew about it and were ready to go when the storm hit.
Limelight guitar riff tip: strum the top two strings open along with the power chords (and play the E as a normal open E cowboy chord when you get to that part).
@KM6LYW "experimental and automated" it's the problem. Result isn't natural, prononciation is bad, technical terms isn't properly translated and radio is full of technical words. Plus, for example, familiar language like "ham" in place of "amateur" make crazy sentences. It's better in English.
I opened this video and I hear it in french, with horrible a robot voice. I don't understand why you did that, but I can't watch that, it's insane. The title is in bad french, the description is in bad french, and this robot voice... The result is that we will stop watching your video. Very bad idea.
thanks for letting me know, it's a new default with youtube, yet experimental. I disabled all the foreign language translations. It should be entirely US english native now, let me know please. Merci'
thanks for the feedback, i tried a "contact" series where we used a new/specific mode each time, it wasn't super popular, but I thought it was a lot of fun.

Always fun to see Linpac in action!

Another good one Craig! Really hope packet comes back in my area!
I saw your traffic about a week or two ago. Either you were testing first, or shooting this video. I see Breckenridge 7 miles East every day. 😀
Mostly testing, seeing if this is even possible... and it is! I made it past VICT once, into LA county.
Cool demo!

C'est quoi ce doublage moisi en français !
français dubbing is experimental and automated..... Je ne parle pas français :)

@@KM6LYW It's perfect, we can watch you in original version now ! Thanks !
great thanks, be aware its a new youtube default for publishing... i figured, okay, how bad can it be?
Enjoy the videos, but the content is becoming repetitive. Try exploring other digital modes/speeds.
