I absolutely don't need a bike computer, life is already complicated enough and making it worse won't make it better. On the other hand, the minimalist bike wall mount would actually be useful.
Great visual at about 08.05 where the bike owner runs out the door pointing his cellphone like it's a weapon at the bike thief. That'll save your bike in New York or LA...and Seattle and Portland these days. (note also the shape of his hand as it holds the phone. Was that in the script?)
Everything functions properly th-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Nothing was damaged in the box aside from a decal on the fork. The decal was missing a piece of a corner but I ended up peeling them off anyways. Assembly is easy BUT make sure you tune up the derailleurs. Both the front and rear need adjusting. I'd advise going to a bike shop but I opted out and put in 10+ hours with the help of TH-cam. Ended up fraying a shifter cable but all in all I learned from the experience. The Brakes work well but the front caliper needs adjusting or at least mine did because the rotor was rubbing against the pads. Make sure you swap out the seat, grips, and pedals. For the short run you'll be fine though. I've read that this bike isn't built yet for hard trails but I just need it for the city. PA has some of the worst roads and being in a mountain this was a great choice. Worth the investment!
I can't see why anyone would wish to buy a locking system that DEPENDS on an App to lock and unlock the bike. I have seen Apps spontaneously disappear from the store and my phone as companies remove them or go into bankruptcy. This happened to me with a device that lasted about 1 year in the real-world market. The device became non-functional because the App was removed and no longer available. Neither the company nor anyone else that I contacted could provide a copy of the App (like in an .apk file) that could be used since it was no longer officially available. Similarly for Apps that REQUIRE joining some sort of group or affiliation that could be dissolved at any time by third parties totally out of the control of the customer.
@@randomescu My experience is that not all apps can be extracted into an apk or may require a rooted phone to do so. And some apps still require communication with that second or third party to allow functionality and as I noted, that other party may or may not be available. If you're willing to buy and use something that is dependent on something that is not guaranteed to be there when you need it...that's ok. It's the consumer's decision. Unfortunately, I believe far too many people don't understands these unreliable dependencies exist.

So many of these items are crowdfunded items on this "Must Have" list have either failed to reach their goal or have horrible ratings in Amazon.
This TH-cam scammer gets paid by scammers on Indiegogo who dissapears after a year. Then he takes the video out. They all pay this scam advertiser.
For the smart lock someone can just lift the bike
Most theives ride away with the bike tho, so carrying the bike is suspicious
@@fablob7387 wtf that’s not gonna stop majority of theft
@@tcr9961 it will, why should the robber have to lift the in tire bike and stuff when he could just get a one without a lock and easily riding away-

You can go to a hardware store and get everything you need to mount a bike to wall or ceiling (even pulley-based system) for under US$10.

Nice gadgets collection bro carry on
Thank you, I will
Lol

Hornit Clug did not fit my tires. They are 20 x 4
Don’t go to the links in the description. It’s not actually stores. It’s just crowd funding.
The IQ2 power meter changed its design to standard power pedals almost 2 years ago.
Nice Ad you made, but I need useful information :/

A lot of this sounded like a commercial. Too much crowdfunding and false language. “As crime and theft are on the rise” ?!

extract the apk from the aplication next time and store it. next time, i guess.
Yep. And now the thieves don't even need a hacksaw. they can just hack the app

Yeah. And additionally they are usually not very secure from the mechanical point of view, usually openable with a paperclip :D
I wouldn't trust suction cups to mount a bike to a car. I've seen suction cups loose their grip, and fail too many times.

Problem with most gps tracking device on bikes is that smart theives will locate it and dump it
and as soon as you get inside , you loose the signal

Thanks for your feedback.
A GPS tracker would have to be *hidden in the bike* not just attached to the bike.
This video is an ad.
