Finishing this game seriously bummed me out. So sad its over. Actually most Tales games hit hard but this one hit me the most for some reason - its not even a tragedy like some of the Tales games. Probably because this was the only Tales game which shows a direct romantic relationship throughout the whole game, correct me if I'm wrong. Also loved the characters and banter even though it happens much less compared to other Tales games.

Favourite jrpg this year, (I’m late to the party, it’s 2024 😅) played it alongside granblue with the latter being more recent. It’s unfortunate granblue didn’t live up to my expectations. I got this game of a whim nd it’s everything granblue should’ve been. The boss fights are amazing and difficult. The characters are all developed really well. I won’t say too much but definitely an amazing series!

The worldbuilding reminds me alot of Stormlight. The chasmic and desert like look, the Bright Eye and Dark Eye system, Knights with powers. Zeugles like Spren or Cremlings, Imbedded being with Crystals like Singers being with their Gemhearts. The foreign intergalactic invaders plot.

I’m only part way through this so please don’t explain what’s happening here, but… that person at 2:39:00 who wears all dark colors, murdered a bunch of the local wildlife for no identifiable reason, had the most dramatic into possible while showing almost none of their face, and then walked into a portal also for no identifiable reason and vanished… I don’t know if they’re a major/minor villain, a future party member, or someone who isn’t really on anyone’s side, but... It is, without a doubt, the funniest thing I have seen all day and I love it and the unknown character now.
Glad to see this upload. I was enjoying the game up until Lord Vholran's castle. Utterly tedious to get to him, with hardly any healing remaining, scraped through his first phase, then he resets and I decided nope, I'm out. It's only getting worse from there as the game was getting more and more grindy. Cool story though.
Someone let me know their thoughts on this. (Spoiler warning until late game) But, could the implementation of the "red women" have been a reference to the "red girl" from Nier Automata. They are both similar in their narrative roles for their stories. Setting paths in motion for a bigger grand scheme
@@ryan6140 have you played any of the dragon age games? or baldur gate 3 or divinity orginal sin 2? those are good unless you dont like turn base games (divinity & baldur gate 3) the only one i can think of you're character talking is dragon age games :T and cyberpunk 2077? greedfall? wolfcen lords of mayhem? its like diablo... but you can create your own character in it and he or she is voiced acted..

Erica Lindbeck is a voice actress goddess. Truly loved her and Ray Chase work. Actually you know what. The whole fucking cast was amazing. Truly this game is up there with Chrono Trigger for me. My collectors edition was worth the price. Even more since more DLC is out. Need to replay this.
Why didn't the Dannon peeps use their yogurt money to buy freedom from Lord Ballsack? How does Shionne get nookie with a high voltage meat pocket? Does Alphen not feel pain as a plot device so he can tap that high voltage meat pocket? Why did they combine cartoon footage with gameplay and make the graphics look inconsistent? And what's with all the lolicon outfits?
