    TY so much for such a thorough review. We've been to Paradisus Palma real reserve in PC but we prefer Mexico for the food.
    Are there taco options for lunch? And are their stone/wood oven pizzas available for lunch?
    How is room service? Thanks!

    Thanks for sharing! Was the pool temperature really cold (uncomfortable)?

    • @taresahe3188

      Nope! The pool's temperature was good and comfortable. Obviously, you will still get "the shock shivers" when you first jump in but you get use to it really fast. Have fun!

    Which all inclusive would you pick for great Japanese restaurant quality sushi?

      We think that Paradisus La Perla (Playa del Carmen) has better restaurants :)

    Thank you for the video, we are going there in a couple of weeks. Is the swim up bar “reserve” only?

    • @taresahe3188

      Excited for you!!
      Unfortunately The swim up is at the bar next to Agua Marina (other side of The Reserve).
      There’s no swim up at the reserve pool, but lots of waiters walking around to make sure you’re taken care of.

    We are going to paradises Cancun in sep. this review is very helpful! How much extra do you have to pay for the reserve?

    • @taresahe3188
      @taresahe3188  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe it depends on the pricing of the season, type of room you’re getting etc. but I would say around $600-$800 more per person :)

    Does this place have entertainment/shows at the end of the night?

    • @taresahe3188
      @taresahe3188  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They have entertainment almost every night :) When you arrive, they give you a program sheet that has all the programs/ activities/ events that are happening that week!

    Awesome video! So much information. As for the shuttle from the Airport to the resort, how did you schedule that?

    • @taresahe3188
      @taresahe3188  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When you arrive at the airport, walk to the shuttle area and look for your own airline representative.
      They will help to direct you to the correct shuttle, which will take you to your resort.
      All the drivers have a clipboard with people’s name on there. If your name is on the driver’s clipboard, then that is your shuttle!
      There’s no fee to the shuttle. So if they make you pay, they’re not legit !

    • @DUSTYINTHEWILD
      @DUSTYINTHEWILD ปีที่แล้ว

      No fee? That’s what I like to hear! Hmm… you’re automatically added to the list for the shuttle, is that because you’re a Reserve guest? Also, what about Resort back to the Airport?

    • @taresahe3188
      @taresahe3188  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DUSTYINTHEWILD I believe when you book your vacation, the airline prepares the list of guests arriving on that flight so they assign shuttles to drive you. All guests have this, not just Reserved guests.
      When I stayed at their sister resort in Playa del Carmen, they had a free shuttle back to the airport. But at Cancun, they didn't have that :( We took a taxi back to the airport which cost about 50 USD.

    I probably missed it, but was there a charge for your meals besides the steak restaurant you mentioned?

    • @taresahe3188
      @taresahe3188  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All restaurants are included in price except Sal Steak House, Kanna Beach Club and Sante (if you’re not a reserve guest)

    Me and my wife just stayed there for 5 days.... bottom line we are already looking at booking a return visit for next year, and we live in Europe. Fantastic hotel, staff, food!!! We ate at almost all the restaurants, including the buffet ( which was awesome). Everything about the resort is impressive.

    Great review.
    I'm going to the Paradisus in November:
    Could you give some more info on what's an extra charge even on The Reserve package and do they make it clear to you:
    Restaurant food ordered at the pool?
    Room service?
    What about the tipping culture? How much were you tipping.
    Coming from UK where tipping for everything isn't common and don't want to get it wrong (too little or too much)

    • @taresahe3188
      @taresahe3188  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Reserve Package - you get extra perks like your own swimming pool & relaxing pool, an extra restaurant, a separate pyramid only for Reserved guests, a bar & snack bar at your own lobby, etc. But if you go to a restaurant to eat and there are things that are extra cost, you still have to pay extra for that. We really liked having the personal concierge because he/ she will take care of you very well and help you make reservations for restaurants or plan your day. If you are not Reserved guest, you will have to physically GO TO the restaurant to make reservation that morning.
      There are waiters walking around the pool at all times, you can order food from them. But only certain restaurants (depends on what type of food). So think finger food, not fine dining.
      Room service is included for The Reserved guests, they have different menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are a few items on there that are extra cost.
      Tipping - it's totally up to you. If you tip more, you will have better service. If you re-visit that restaurant, they will likely remember you and provide better service. But there were also times where we tipped and they did not treat us any differently. We normally tipped between $5 - $20.

    How do you know what’s included and what’s extra cost?

    • @taresahe3188
      @taresahe3188  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For the restaurant menu - they will state it. The waiter will also inform you.
      For the all inclusive, you will have to check before you book to see what is included. Mostly everything is included, but if you are The Reserve guests, you will get extra perks.
