Thank you kindly for that. Makes sense when I think about it. Though it was odd because I felt like the props were already synchronised beforehand, but that may just be X Plane not giving me the feedback.
I lke your videos very much in fact watching video is how I found Zimod speaking of which, there has been updates for the zmod. can you please create another video of zimod of the new features that zimod 7.29 versions have. Also I could not find how to setup the auto pilot on the other twin model aircraft and is not the Baron.
I am looking to do so; need to get in touch with them. If so, the videos that come straight after this in X Plane (provided it is a positive response) will be looking at the REP for the Baron, and comparing it directly with the default
I think that REP adds a lot to the Baron, in particular, making it a much nicer plane. Unfortunately a lot of the documentation comes straight from the Carenado B58 and highlights the things that are not 100% on the default plane, like multi-stage fuel boost pumps, etc., The one really nice thing that REP does is simulate slight differences in the engines, which you can hear, and the prop sync works properly - it probably works fine in the default plane but you can't hear the difference when you turn it on. I've had some interesting flights with the Baron, including encountering icing over the North Sea, which was fun, haha, but it's not my favorite plane, even with REP, and I just don't know why - I don't dislike it, but I only use it if I want a fast GA plane. The standard 172 I never used before REP as I found it quite dull but with REP it's one of my favorite planes, almost up there with the JustFlight Arrow. Nice videos so far, I'm looking forward to the next part :)
I've never tried the Carenado one and it's not been updated for XP11 yet, so I wouldn't go that route at the moment. It also has REP as an addon, so it can get very expensive.
The Carenado B58 is for XP10 but works with XP11 and it looks better than the default B58 in XP11 (the default gauges in the default B58 are 2D). If you buy the Carenado B58 you need to buy a specific REP for this aircraft. The best thing would be to either buy REP for the default B58 and / or wait for Carenado to upgrade their B58 to fully support XP11 graphics and then buy the REP that will come along for this version.
What a confusion, you play around with the leves but I didn't see you start the engines. When did you do that? If you havn't been flying this plane for quite some time, why aren't you better prepared for the video. Not good watching that.
Prop sync goes on after you stabilize your climb and pull the props back from red line. 1000 feet or so.
Thank you kindly for that. Makes sense when I think about it. Though it was odd because I felt like the props were already synchronised beforehand, but that may just be X Plane not giving me the feedback.
ECGadget that's just xp's default model not being good. The REP fixes all that for the Baron.
I shall try to get a hold of that soon!
In my fly this airplane after 10 minutes lost the engines. Why?
Well I guess we are onto part 3? Thanks! :)
We certainly are! Coming on Saturday!
following xp ap and after 10 minutes after changes of hdg i'm still flying in circles over departure airport. any ideas?
Changing the heading around and around will cause you to fly in circles

Are you going to pick the REP for the baron ? (commenting before watching the video)

Which do you recommend then, the REP or the Carenado B58?

to bad your vid is in the dark and engines suppress your voice. will you be making another vid?
Not on this particular aircraft sadly but I have plenty of others on a number of aircraft - that are MUCH brighter!

th-cam.com/video/3qOCHuBEREo/w-d-xo.html is the first video, as this is part 2.
