725.00 for someone who is coming from outside is cheap BUT for a person who make 300.00 per month THAT’S imposible.....

    • @CuriousCat777

Right but there’s other people who earn more then minimum wage in ES. We can’t just compare to the lowest wage. That’s just like any other country. Here where I live the average rent is $1700-2000 per month in the city. Min wage is $1500 after taxes deducted. It impossible anywhere if you look at it that way.

Thank you !! Danielle for your kind words to El Salvador, you are always welcome. It would be a nice idea if there are Salvadorans who rent furnished apartments with all the services per month of rent that are advertised on Airbnb or on Hotels.com is the good option

@@CuriousCat777 dude, I have a masters and 8 yeas experiencece. I make 5 times the minumal wage.
I can't afford this, unless I eat, pay utilities, medicine and cloths with 200.
The taxation is insane here, 35% +/- so as soon as you break 1100 you'll sure to get at least 300 deducted... Not including VAT

Well, she specifically said that the apartment is in a nice, secure, and exclusive area, so of course it would have a bit higher price than other areas, just like in any country. I think it is a very nice apartment and area, and the price is just what you would paid for an appointment in a nice and secure area.

If you live in a place that is called "Residencial" or private place, the rent will be really high, even you have to pay for the security, electricity and water. However, if you decide to live in a home that is the urban area, it will be a bit less.
Also, there are places that are really safe not matter if you are not paying security, but it's up to you. It will depend on your incomes as well. Wish you a great experience if you want to move to my EL SALVADOR

Electricity in general is very expensive in El Salvador hence the gas stoves to electric. That’s why ES sells 99% gas operated stoves.
$150 per month is very suspicious though. I would definitely ask questions. Heck I would even ask around the building to verify average use.

🤔🤔🤔Ask yourself how you, who lives in a tiny itty bitty apartment smaller than what the locals have, get stuck with an electric bill about as much as locals earn in a month and those same locals probably use at least as much electricity as you.
At the very least they don't live in darkness and cannot contribute 25% of income to lights even if they paid far less than you. I'm sure your meter runs quite similarly to locals and they charged you $150 because they could get away with it. And if they got you on electricity they most certainly got you on rent. Definitely by hundreds.
Maybe it went to a good cause but it probably didn't

$750, but she gets Cable, Internet, Security, also.. Has a person that goes once a week to clean.. I mean that's a good deal.. If that's your only expenses..

Plus the location is great, everything is close: Hospitals, shopping malls, Gyms, Clubs, Pharmacies, Schools, parks...you name it. Also, It's fully furnished! The area where the condo is located is for people who can afford it not for people living on minimum wage.
