Those days are gone when people used to continue with the older devices courtesy of the longer custom rom support. I strongly believe phones like Mi 11X or Poco F4 or Moto edge 30 are a better deal than the 6a under 30k if top priority are the features and custom rom support
not everyone is a geek about custom roms on their snapdragon phones first of all and secondly not everyone bothers to take so many hectic risks of custom roms(like updating the os maybe via ota or adb whtever or finding bugs and lots of things)...but they wanted a long-lasting phone, so what's the walk around then? people choosing flagship sd chip phones for their long-term use but what happens with mi poco sd8+ devices is pathetic unless custom roms! poco f4 even does lag from the day1 itself! can't comment on moto though as i saw that's a reliable one.

i am also confused, my priority is mainly on cameras, but pixel comes with 60 Hz and 18 watt charger. S20 FE comes with a near flagship level experience but it's a 2 year old phone and i have heard it has battery draining issues.
