I hate that Lava Cave, I've died too many times in the lava, and lost tames to it as well. You did good. As for the Bug Repellent, it works as long as you don't actually get right up in the bugs' faces, but also you need to use it on your tame, not just yourself. The bugs may ignore you, but your Baryonyx looks like a tasty snack still! :)
Im solo player like you been playing off and on for few years never did the caves, have done 2 last few days. This one next on my list thanks for the video showing it all step by step
Loot the megalanias, their toxin I mean. It's very annoying to farm later for the megapithecus fight, not sure if you plan to beat all the bosses or just broodmother but that one is easier so it would be a walk in the park for you.
I was just planning on the broodmother boss fight. I honestly don't know anything about the boss fights. I've seen somebody start the broodmother, but haven't watched the actual fight. Nor do I know anything about the other bosses. I doubt I have the patience to breed stronger dinos for the bigger fights. Is it biotoxin that the megalanias drop? I have gotten that recently from the jellyfish...I think
@@RidleyFox1 Broodmother is harder than the megapithecus so whatever you bring for her, will kill the other with ease so it's all up to you. Those fights aren't long and I'm guessing you will do the gamma? I doubt you'll have any trouble with those two bosses. Dragon is a little tougher though. And the toxin is just called "Megalania toxin", those apex drops are needed for beta and alpha bosses, you probably seen like rex arms, argy talons etc. Gamma is just artefacts so maybe I got a little ahead there.
@@Synthia17 That's interesting, I had thought that the BroodMother was supposed to be the easiest. I guess we could try both then. I was planning on doing the gamma. I need to check to see if I have everything I need for the Broodmother fight. I may not.

I can't believe it, I never even thought to feed the bug repellent to my tames! Duh..that makes sense, lol. 😀
