Those who keep asking about Mel not seeing her mother for 8-9 years, she said in another interview that there was a family rift because of her bad marriage, and she disconnected with her family and close friends while living in L.A. After she got out of her marriage and her dad died, she reconnected with her mother and family. 👨👩👧👧
I like her personality so much, un-phased by everything, she speaks her mind, not in an evil way, and I love that she straight up just speaks things into happening. Like I do that for certain things now, like just act as if it's happening and it will more times than you might expect lol.
Many personality traits we have are from coping mechanisms when we experience trauma. It is positive that she has now escaped the relationship and appears more centred and balanced.

i think part of it was she wanted to change her appearance a lot after the abuse she went through, and went a bit overboard.
Some of it was reconstructive. The Botox she definitely didn’t need , but she had to get reconstructive surgery around her eyes
