Give truck drivers a break...they literally have like a 80 ft vehicle weighing, 80,000 pounds are driving hours on end, and possibly delivering the kind of food or products you buy everyday...I respect that.
If both parties did something unethical and unnecessary, you should always point it for both. Even if one action worse than the other. Either way, I don't feel sorry for the SUV.
If only all drivers had your mentally! I'm hgv driver in the uk! I'm not upset if they cut in or brake check me, I'm scared! They have no idea how scary it is trying to stop 44 ton before we collide and possibly someone dies! Safety has to come 1st!
People also don't understand how air brakes work. You push the brakes to the floor and then wait for the truck to stop. It's not an instant thing. You know how much distance you need to stop and you start applying the brakes way before you would in a car. When you slam the brakes to the floor, they just push back against your foot and you wait until it's ready. Also if you drop your steer tire off the shoulder into soft ground, Get ready to ride along the shoulder until you can slowly get it back. Your air pressure goes down everytime you brake, if you loose all your air pressure, the brakes completely lock up. They're nothing like a passenger car. Also when you cut in front of a truck on an incline or slow down before an incline, you don't realize what you've just done to that trucker. They need to maintain speed up hill otherwise they have to downshift and crawl up. So I agree, give them a break.
Yeah the entire thing is full of seriously bad driving by a large percentage of the motorists. It's baffling to watch but so is vehicle traffic in Asia and this has nothing on that so I guess it's all relative lol.
@@sandrad9695 not a truck driver but I watch a bunch of idiots in car comps. And lots of truck drivers say people just hate being behind them so much they will pretty much do anything to pass them, even if the truck driver isn’t driving super slow!
He was in such a rush he had to jump the traffic, but then he had plenty of time to waste when it came to screwing with the trucker..... such a satisfying ending though
Usually those kind of people aren't in a rush (their lives are empty anyway), they just unconsciously look for a quick ego boost in the form of "I'm 15 meters ahead of you now, I won, you lose". When I see those people having this kind of behavior, I long for the day when there's a license to have childs.
What an ass! That has never happened to me while trucking, but if it did...I'd love to have a camera to catch the screwball in action. That would have pissed me off. Don't people know that a Semi can't stop on a dime with air brakes. There is small delay too. A tractor trailer truck doesn't shift gears like a normal car would either, Some truckers float their gears while shifting even through they are supposed to double clutch. Of course, some drivers become confident in their abilities in order to float gears. Nothing really wrong with that. I've done it many times too, but a new driver grinds those gears down when they don't double clutch. There are people on the road that don't even realize that some truck drivers are new and inexperienced, and most of the newer drivers have accidents. I never did, because I had really good training at a community college, but there are some that people should be weary of. Still....what this guy did to a trucker.,,,That was very stupid. I'd bet the judge sided with the truck driver over that incident. I know I would have.
@Jimmy Kuser. The truck driver had clearly established himself in the left lane and was attempting to pass. The driver of the white suv clearly merged into the truck attempting to be an ass. The white suv was hit in the drivers side rear quarter due to actions taken by the driver of the white suv. I bet that driver has learned a couple lessons... don’t screw with other drivers and causing an accident leads to insurance premium increases. Do stupid things, win stupid prizes!
@Jimmy Kuser. Not sure if you actually watched the video and payed attention to it. I suggest you do so! The driver of the white suv was the one that was clearly looking to cause an accident and definitely did so because they got their feelings hurt. It appears your feelings are hurt as well.
My mind set is to go about my business, if you want to intentionally be a child that’s your business but when you put others lives and safety at risk because you got your feelings hurt you’re a special kind of stupid!
@Jimmy Kuser. Are you off your medication? I was in the Marine Corps for 21 years and I’m currently retired. Not sure how you’re assuming I’m am an inexperienced truck driver, maybe it’s that special kind of stupid coming back and biting you again. Get back on your meds you tool.
@Jimmy Kuser The truck driver will not be at fault. Did u watch the video? The truck driver went into the left lane to pass him, then the car decided to wait until he was close enough to cut him off. Tractor trailers can not stop on the dime. Always remember that...
Should be in jail purposely trying to have an accident. I would claim insurance fraud good job on the dash cam everyone needs one nowadays to prove innocence and the guilty
The person in the white vehicle should be charged with harrassment. That driver did nothing wrong !!! People always doing dumb stuff like that. I had a little car in Ny try to back me up lol seriously? Toyota versus a semi hahaha..idiots
@Shlomo Jewdog Rabbi Barksteinbergovitz cut them off? You cant cut someone off thats NOT supposed to be there. (Regardless of where that is) Go back, watch the video. Look where the driver was when that happened. Ever call the cops and say "Id like to report someone stealing my sack of weed" in a state where its still illegal? Yeah try that out. If the person hadnt broke the law to begin with, theyd have never been there in that situation. This is a constant all across Law and Life.
@Shlomo Jewdog Rabbi Barksteinbergovitz gotcha. The swerve was just a tad bit over the line. I get it. All Im after is the correctable action here. Not which side is satisfying to a particular viewer. Ask yourself....what makes the bigger impact on the highway, and on society as a whole? A. Put the fear of God in car drivers not to cross solid lines and risk others safety. B. Put the fear of God in pro drivers not to point it out when they do. Seriously ponder this. Ive had my answer for nearly 20 years. And I can explain it in detail
My personal favorite is when they slow down for other drivers, just to fuck with the trucker. Literally pass your truck, then just sit behind another trailer of another semi truck, lol...
Well that was the point - the truck gave them the chances so that they could create the situation where he could get payback and essentially be blameless.
Also worth considering that there were other cars around for most of the video. He finally hits him whey there are only two on that stretch of road. Idk if that was a coincidence but it shows pure class if it wasn't.
The truck driver was smart. He waited until just the right moment. Anything before that would have been his fault because he would have rear-ended the SUV. The push during the lane change was genius, completely on the driver for cutting him off. Long video but one of the best revenge clips I have seen in a while.
@@DigDugger-hg1xb suv merged into the 18 wheelers lane. the 18 wheeler doesnt have to slow down or speed up for the jackass in the suv. the suv merged onto the 18 wheeler. they played a stupid game and won stupid prizes. 18 wheeler would never be at fault especially with all of this footage.

"I don't have time to be in traffic so I'll cut through the breakdown lane to get ahead of traffic, but I DO have time to brake check a truck and drive 20mph for a couple miles once the traffic clears up."
Almost every time I pass someone by 15 mph they decide to do 80 too, until they get ahead. Back to 62 and no passing allowed. People in Kitsap County are petty and angry and never take a break.
I don't get what could have been going through that guy's mind. Why would you do something like that? Why place yourself and others at risk? Why not just go on about your day and just be thankful that you made it from here to there safely?😖 pitiful...
I hope this truck driver did not mention anything about the recording and just let the Ford guy fill out all the forms as he desired. Then, preferably in court, show the video at the last possible moment. That would wake somebody up.
@@Sool101 That is not legal sadly, they must show the proof and then let his defense attorney formulate a defense for that. It is why in cases of murder it proof is always shown as soon as possible, because a good or lucky lawyer can have it disregarded entirely.

They have a huge hood that obstructs their view, small sedans will disappear out of view of the driver if they merge top close! I like to give 4-6 car length of spacing before moving over, depending on conditions.

Forcing his way into line instead of waiting like everyone else, and then playing games that gave up more positions in traffic than he gained with his dipstick driving. It makes NO sense. Then wrecking himself to spite the trucker is pretty extreme.
Btw I absolutely love this driver he takes great care of being very calculated. What do I mean? Well as you notice he doesn’t just hit them which he could get screwed for. He changes lanes multiple times to show intent that he doesn’t want to hit them, he lets them cut back over. He does that several times then when he does hit them he does it going down a small hill in which he could say “my brakes! My brakes!” I’ve drove loaded trailers on pickups and farm single cab semis and going down hill with a full load it will push you. So just taking all into account this guy was really smart about how he did it.
To me it did not look like the trucker hit the car. To me it looked like car eventually intentionally cutting off the truck and running into him. Where else could the trucker go? He was moving fast and at those speeds he could have flipped if he steered to the left. The car driver should be arrested.
@@skrrt_kids8839 It is a power trip. They bully other drivers because they know that most drivers won’t retaliate or if they do, it is the other driver’s fault. This is the logical conclusion for the actions by the asshole driver. Don’t be mad when you get mauled by a bear after you poked it!
@J B I worked for a large utility company driving a ladder truck and coming out of the driveway of an apt onto a narrow residential street I angled my truck in the driveway to my turn would be easier and while waiting for traffic a woman drove her pinto station wagon up next to and UNDER my truck, so when I pulled forward my back wheels flattened her headlight, fender, and bumper, with her blaming me for ''hitting her car''. How could I go forward and hit the car BEHIND me I asked. She then told of pulling into the gap between front wheels and rear wheels and waiting. I asked why she didn't HONK or back up and she said she was too ''shocked'' to do anything. The company stiffed her and she got a citation. Whew. She literally said, ''At least I know the phone company will pay for it''. As for the estimated cost of repair, I said $150 or 200 if you total the car. It was a Pinto. They were like locusts and everywhere.
I doubt they were wondering anything. That was head on into the median. The airbag would've smashed their face and some teeth out and the "co-pay" of the american healthcare system would've enacted further justice on them.

@@linhathony1360 I've seen this argument many times for accidents like these. Was always puzzled by how people rallied behind this thought. Maybe a strong need for justice affecting judgement. Like it's pretty obvious, if you just watch the last quarter of the video without knowing what happened beforehand.
That's an unsafe lane change ticket with points to his license for sure, plus reckless driving, insurance will decline the claim and increase the premium. Ford driver is fuckedup.... Satisfying!

Today I don't trust anyone on the road because most drive like they could care less if they cause an accident that injures or kills another car's occupants. The BIGGEST pet peeve I have with the ignorant arrogance of the general public is how they insist on coming suddenly and abruptly around the front of trucks to exit the Hiway while one can identify as much as a quarter mile or more of empty space in the trucks side view mirrors. Clearly, there is NO justifiable reason for this disgusting behavior on behalf of the 4 wheeler except the driver feels the need to prove some kind of point. @MusicManMaurice The trucker was trying to get around the SUV so he could carry on with his day. Simple as that. He certainly was checking his mirrors before switching lanes, and it was pretty cleared up by then. The only driver in the wrong was in the white SUV.
Imagine if insurance companies had a question that asks, "if they hit the brake and caused an accident", barring the perp from getting that insurance premium. That would stop the brake checkers, I think...
Some people are just selfish self centered scumbags...it’s all for them and about them didn’t you know?? No courtesy anymore.
I wish everyone understood what u saying bro

This guy was looking for an accident. I’m glad you got it on camera. Hopefully this helped your case

@Jimmy Kuser The truck driver will not be at fault. Did u watch the video? The truck driver went into the left lane to pass him, then the car decided to wait until he was close enough to cut him off. Tractor trailers can not stop on the dime. Always remember that...

Speeding up while the car was in the middle of a lane change to hit him, not his fault? I think officers would say different.

Rich S even still, having a CDL and a regular drivers license is very different, the trucker can still get in shit from him company for it even if legally the the other cars at fault.
I finally got a dash-camera; it will "speak for you" when needs come.
The trucker has a good defense, as he did not do anything illegal, it was the white car driver, who is 100% at fault.
Would love to see front and rear dash cameras become standard equipment on all vehicles, just like airbags or even the black box/flight data recorder on planes. If drivers knew their actions would be recorded, it would be a different environment altogether on the road. It wouldn't fix inherent "asshole-ness", but at least they would think twice when behind the wheel.
Both parties are at fault. Notice the truck driver veered toward the white SUV before the contact.

The states could do more to stop these kinds of childish and dangerous antics on the highways. Anyone caught driving like this should be arrested and jailed for endangering other motorists lives, and have their driving PRIVELEGE permanently revoked!!! A fine and point are nothing but a slap on the wrist. This is why I find no enjoyment driving anywhere these days. It wasn't like this 50+ years ago when I first got my license. Back then you'd have an occasional idiot but most drivers acted responsibly on the roads. Today I don't trust anyone on the road because most drive like they could care less if they cause an accident that injures or kills another car's occupants. Problem is, trucks are prohibited out in the left lane where contact was made unless the the left lane initiates an intended exit ramp. Right idea, wrong lane. Good point about the camera. It does show pre-meditated aggravated vehicular harassment.
Only things documented here are truck driver swerved at white car, then purposly hit them.
Unless he owns his truck AND has his own authority....he is unemployed now.
Point proven.......DERANGED criminal behavior and that’s ALL there is TO it. Worst part is, many times I see youngsters in the car being exposed to unforgivable jeopardy if a wreck ensues.
mark p ,
Better to hit the car and end the confrontation early than kill multiple people as a result of a jack knife/ Roll over while making an attempt to avoid a constant deliberate premeditated vehicular assault on the truckers safety. I would do the same thing. End it early and often and let the chips fall where they may. I once sent 39 people to the emergency room due to a confrontation with a moron like the car on this vid. My truck jackknifed into a Motor Coach bus and sent it off the Hiway and rolled it down a ravine in upstate NY 21 years ago at 2:30 in the morning trying to swerve out of the way off the idiots constant brake pedal jamming on and off in front of me. I’m glad YOU weren’t on that bus. It wasn’t pretty. Well truck drivers between Port Hope and Cornwall (Ontario) drive completely reckless. Honestly its a good thing im still courteous to them.
@@littad7128 People also don't understand how air brakes work.
Your air pressure goes down everytime you brake, if you lose all your air pressure, the brakes completely lock up. They're nothing like a passenger car.
Also when you cut in front of a truck on an incline or slow down before an incline, you don't realize what you've just done to that trucker. They need to maintain speed up hill otherwise they have to downshift and crawl up.
