Following as I'm in the market and this tent looks amazing... The innovative hinged roof is amazing as well as the sleek, low profile which should enable me to put it on my WK2 and clear the garage door.. I'm 6'7" so it had plenty of length. I'm curious about weather proof in rain given the hinged roof. From one Jay to another, good luck out there!

Lol….there’s some pretty big people in this hobby. Companies test these products before there marketed and retailed so I would check the manufacturer in which your considering purchasing.
You should consider purchasing some vanultra locking mounts. I like mine so far.
I’ll have to look them up. I’m still changing things a bit and finding what works but I do have a couple things coming so far. I would love to check out your set up. I read on another comment that your out in VA also. Are you near Richmond?

Mike there’s a second video coming soon. It will be the first real time review where I address things like set up, take down and comfort. Hopefully I can make it within the next couple of weeks.
Any issues mounting an awning on the sides, as a result of the strut hinges?
No not because of the strut hinges but had to do a minor modification in order to make it work right because of the side locking hinges. Here is the follow up video

Do you think a family of 4 could fit in here comfortably? (two adults and two small children)
I think if the kids are small and everyone is fairly thin then yes. I think they named it the geo 2.5 because they estimate 2 adults and a child and being in it myself I can see that but the children would have to sleep on the bottom so that you can have room. I would definitely check the weight capacity of the rack you mount it on as well just for safety. Ikamper makes the Skycamp for 4!adults so that would be another option

Whats the weight capacity Jay?
The weight capacity is not really based on the tent but more on the rack that holds it up. I believe in my case it’s about 1000lbs
Hey, I ordered mine two weeks ago and have not heard any response from the team. You mentioned that you had a really good support experience. Would you mind sending me an email or a phone number to contact them? I can only reach out to them via chat.
Unfortunately they only communicate thru email. Sloan has been literally traveling a lot with marketing and promotions doing expos and handling everything on his own. It took me just about as long but once he got back in town he did reach out and helped me with everything. Everything went fast from there on and I am very happy with the tent. I wish I had a contact to give but it would be the same one you already have. I’ll double check my emails to see if he was emailing me with a separate link and if so I’ll send him a message as well as give you the link.
