As someone who loves the game but doesn’t have the time to do “the deepest of dives”, let me start by saying thank you for this.
Content like this is something I can listen to while working and take mental notes of what to focus on during my limited playtime.

Sometimes you never make it to your third ultimate to make it permanent. So I'm just trying to see if it's better to just have more damage from a distance.
Also I think the wailing skull does magic and physical damage if it is on falcea.

Great video and super pumped for the site! One thing I noticed: Realm Tear says for each tile beyond the first, so it only has a 9-24% damage boost depending on promotion. Still quite strong, but not as strong as rated in this video.

I like this! I’ve got a maxxed wailing skull on zili and realm tear on arrogance in GB. Helped push me to 50k blood. Need another maxed spirit siphon to get a comfy 50k

Wow what a great artifact video, if want feedback, think mention some heroes that artifact will be good on especially the legendary ones, Since people will get epic > legendary more before mythic level. Can't wait for Mage, Archer, Tank, Healer videos.
29:10 this was a great example for me, I pulled my first Wailing Skull and my first copy of Valeriya yesterday.
Really appreciate the niche use-cases for some of these- nothing less than expected from the deepest diver. I personally like watch guards ambition on vladov for extra chances to land the bleed ^.^

Really looking forward to this series - And great job so far! Keep up the detailed explanation, people can wait 2 weeks if the just want the "easy" version.
1) The red and orange is a bit difficult to separate, maybe turn the orange more towards the yellow IG color?
2) Timeline indicators/titles for each item.
3) Probably put in a Keen Wisdom +25 or similar for benchmark, e.g. here it would probably be a B tier? thus, instead of refereeing as in the beginning, then we know where it stands as a "bare minimum".
4) Watchguards Ambition: Besides more atk to debuff, isn't there also some niche use where Estrid, Wrath, Voroth etc. can have a double hit prog on each of their talent/passive double hit progs, thus quadruble hits? or does it only add up together to increased doubblehits chances?
5) For furture Healers, Dolores mainly, Keen Wisdom vs Golden Scarab discussion. I've recently min-max spreadsheet on when to use what, +25 KW breaks even with +22 GS at 10689 ATK and +25 GS 11548 ATK pre artifact atk bonus no matter Pantheon bonus. Thus, KW will always give more ATK bonus when a dolores is above 11548 ATK pre Artifact. However, the exact difference is very small roughly 200 diff at both maxed. taken into account the added rage effect, GS is roughly better when +16/+19, in my opinion. (maybe useful, maybe you already calculated it with the HugMonster)
In regards to point 4, Estrid can proc them multiple times in a row, and I believe she can proc both her talent and Watchguard's on the same attack. It's not gonna quadruple hit though, she'll just basic attack like 3 times super quick.
And she pretty regularly will just go beast mode for a few seconds proccing double attacks like 5+ times in a row and kill everything. Either way it's an insane artifact on her.

Can verify wailing skull on zilitu is game changing, of note the shadow guard occupies a space so you can't drop a hero on top of it while it's out but it can also show up at range from where zilitu, or presumably any ranged fighter hits from, and will appear as close as it can to the person wearing the artifacts but if all spaces are taken will appear several blocks away reliably
An entire video without complaining about drop rates or getting free stuff. Nice.

This was great, I came from raid and have been wondering which artifacts to place on who. I was using the 20% increase in AOE damage on Vaylk. Changed hers and noticed a big change

Super helpful. Thanks. Two comments. 1. The orange and red are a bit hard to distinguish on my phone. Not sure if there is a way to increase that contrast. 2. On the website, is there a plan to list the best artifacts for each hero? The artifact grade for a ranged fighter vs an aoe fighter vs a tanky fighter may be different.
Great vid bud. I like to think of the ledgendary artifacts as place holders. They trash but something is better than nothing until you can start getting more copies of the mythics
Lunacy Visor is great on Volka. All of her attacks are AOE. Build her in Glacier gear for HP and Attack. She heals so much she's all but invincible, while doing more damage than a Defender.

Important info about Lucky Legacy :
1. for those who don’t know, each battle in a series of battles( i.e. defeat or restart ) is “randomized” from the first battle. basically, you start a battle and what succumbs to the “random” effect and triggers, then will trigger each time you Restart/ end if defeat and “challenge again” that one battle. Or, each time you win it in auto-battles :)
This will be true until, you go back to the main screen again by “quit battle” this in mind !
2. the Lucky Legacy, will also Double the points you get from Recalling your unit ( i.e. the cost generator like Navi, etc )
3. in conclusion, 1+2 = you start the battle with your Navi wearing Lucky artifact, you place her, you retrieve her back . if no double points , quit battle, you need to quit, then retry until you lucky 🍀 you proc the double points when retiring .. then on this randomized set, you can retry/restart to win the level - and you place then and retrieve whenever .

This was so helpful, but I've got to give you *some* pushback on amulet of arteries. I use it on my cerberus in arena for a damage boost. Considering his aoe, he has full(possible) uptime on this arti, the only thing I haven't been able to figure out is if it procc's on his pool after he's died.
Super niche? Yeah, but not super terrible(also I can't get a visor for the life of me).
How cool would it be if there were heroes next to these artifacts so that we could know which artifact is needed for which hero. Thanks for the video
On v2 of my website, every hero page will have their recommended artifacts :)
Names on the icons would be nice, but if your website has it don’t sweat the editing - great work and definitely not a lot of artifact guides out there
Crest of thunder is good on valkyra. C tier for sure.
Eye of Sin is great on her too. I think it’s A tier.
Obviously frigid flame is better but I’m talking about in areas you know she’ll be taking damage
16% attack from keen wisdom will outdamage a maxed eye of sin in most content. Only later on would it compete and at that point you will have Realm Tear. Point taken tho

Would love a comparison to each heroes specific artifact. I mean we now know that Wailing Skull is better for Zilitu than her own right? But what about the other heroes. For example, is WS better for Lust than her own exclusive? And on what levels is it better or worse. And so on :)

Everytime i get wailing skull(4 times) i go thru crazy decision whether to put it on someone new or to promote my previous!!!!! I have always promoted so far. I have it on Valeria. I have maxed realm tear on zillitu
Question, when it comes to the wailing skull and it having the heroes attributes. Does that include attack speed and crit all of those things?
Also a note for improvement is making the legendaries a bit more yellow its kind of hard to tell the difference at times

The one with dmg with shield might rank higher when there’s vortex in healing I see that blue shield everywhere in his range constantly

My issue with Frigid Flame is that it got significantly worse in guild boss with Lust.
I use wailing skull on Valeriya but It's only level 13 (hundreds of summons I've gotten 2). I'm wondering if I should rage of chain or Flux Pendant on her. Especially for GB, She's always at no hp.
Flux pendant is no longer exclusive to the guild shop, I’ve pulled it a few times not (maybe I was exclusive forge though). Also if I’m not mistaken, a maxed realm tear is the only artifact that can be better than Scarlett hunt in GB, since I’m pretty sure it counts right to the back of the GB tiles. So that’s 40% if you have them at the back.
Rage chain should be at least A , it’s very good for ardea ,specially if she doesn’t get heals , also good for most chaos heroes And it’s much cheaper to max it out then flux pendant

So what do you think would be better.. I run nm with a silas.. vlad for bleed, lust in her artifact, deimos and valeriya and vlad in scarlet... would valeriya be better in rank 2 scarlet... or rank 2 wailing? Val has 23k attk lol
I wish the legendaries were a little more yellow, it may just be me, but the colors kind of blend when they are next to each other

Hey Fasti - you mentioned Ardea when talking about frigid flame. Does Ardea's self damage not count to remove stacks of damage?
I mentioned ardea to highlight her having that valkyra cyrus range. but no she doesnt benefit from frigid flame for exactly the reason you state

I have a question: does the Watchguard's Ambition stack with Torodor's Lord bonus?
I haven't tested Watchguard's Ambition with my new Torodor just yet but I believe it will. It does with Estrid's talent to double attack so I don't see why Torodor's Lord bonus would be different. I genuinely think it's her best artifact as if it and her talent proc multiple times, especially during her ult every enemy around her just disappears.
Question about Watchsquard´s ambition - how it synergies with Wratch? Alle all of his attacks basic atack (even though some are modified?)?
Pretty decent on him. I dont know specifically whether the aoe or periodic big hit are counted but I used it on him in Conqueror codex the first few times and he did alright with it.

Watchguard 15% chance additional hit. Does it stack with arrogance passive extra hit? Also torodor lord bonus?
I have wailing skull on my Arrogance, and he's carrying me through content with it.
Could you explain the difference something that is 10% more damage and 10% more crit damage? Obviously it would only be when the hero crits but let’s assume everything is crit capped. Would just the flat 10% damage be more? Also, the one where you take damage and lose a stack, would that include chaotics damaging themselves?
MaBucket had a video on it a while back... but I believe the "increases crit damage by 10%" just increases your crit damage stat by that many percentage points, so that 10% may move your stat from 300% to 310% and only be a 3.3% increase to your damage. Whereas a 10% damage increase just... well, does what it says and takes the damage number you'd output and increases that by 10%.
For the last question, I honestly don't know. Definitely an important question to know the answer to when using Ardea, so Fasti will hopefully know that one.
@@hologrammer1532 good info. I knew 10% crit damage would be significantly less than just a flat 10% damage but I was curious if cd would pretty much be a straight downgrade. Obviously depends a lot on stats and mathing it out but I figured it was just flat out worse almost if not all of the time.
@eman10212Basically Damage applies before Crit Damage. If you deal 100 damage and your basic attack deals 100% damage you deal 100 damage. Boost that by 10% damage and you deal 110 then if factors in whatever Crit Damage you have. If Crit Damage is at 200% you deal 220 damage instead of dealing 210 Damage. Damage stacks with your other Damage multipliers and isn't the end total total per say. It also only applies to hits and not to True Damage or any bonus effects like Bleed. As such somebody with large Damage modifiers can find better use with Crit Damage. Say you deal 100 damage with Razaak, his ultimate has a 1000% Damage modifier on it so 1000 Damage. Then you can apply Crit Damage again for ease of math lets call it 200% that's 2000 Damage. If you use something that boosts Crit Damage by 60% (Ageless Wrath) That's 2600 Damage, but compare it to Soulbound Arcana's 50% Damage which requires more time to build up that's now 1050 then doubled to 2100 so you see a larger benefit during attacks with those large Damage modifiers with Crit Damage, but if you don't have large Damage modifiers Damage is pretty much going to be better every time. Crit Damage usually comes with higher values when available so Ageless Wrath or Bloodbond Signet would be better for maximizing those large hits. If it applied at the end then something like Ageless Wrath would boost Razaak's Damage to 3000 in the example and it definitely does NOT, if it was that powerful the debate about stats versus sets would be wildly different and everybody would be prioritizing SoulBound Arcana on everybody because affecting the total Damage would be simply that strong in EVERY single case and it's not. You're not going to see your numbers grow 40% from Infernal Roar instantly it's going to stack with other Damage modifiers that count as Basic Attacks, heck people wouldn't even care if it was the right Main Stat it'd be literally THAT important to make sure you have a Damage boosting set like Soulbound or Infernal, but Ageless Wrath is competitive with both of them and beats it out on some characters so that's the easiest way to show that Damage doesn't function the way Hologrammer suggests it does.
A cheat if you have a bunch of scarlet hunt, If you have a bleed inflicting fighter and then give all your fighters scarlet hunt in artifact material raid you MELT the boss
overall a good video, I just have 1 criticism to throw. It's a bit long of a video. I wish it'd be a bit shorter, more in the 15-20 minutes ballpark.
Very very fair criticism but frankly that won't happen. I want to go in depth and say everything I want to say about each artifact. For info, you can just find the written digital tierlist on my website when that goes live in 1.5 weeks.

Question does anyone find Wailing Skull and Tears of Twilight drop rates even more abysmal than getting a hero like Hats or Boreas? I am saying this from the standpoint of farming artifact stage 18 so much i can't even say the number have mostly all of the top fighter and mage artefacts maxed yet i have only gotten 2 Stars and none of the wailing skulls.
For mage artefacts there are some you can substitute and get good resaults but there is none that can substitute wailing skulls bullshit increase in damage. They are either do this to ,,maybe get this bonus effect if either nothing hits you or enemys are further than you or have a VERY specific and dedicated hero in your team in order to get the effect going'' while wailing skull is just here is some free damage you don't need to think about anything.
For me the fighter artefacts are one of the worst designed out of all. An example for pvp my valerya is with a level 5 flux pendant and hits at full hp close to 80k per hit on the first wave enemy while my enemy Valerya deals 50-55k and the moment a base wailing skull activates she starts killing the enemy faster than me and at the end of the arena is close to my damage. I checked his Valerya and she is with a base wailing skull and turns out it is just better than a level 5 fighter artefact.
I hope the devs buff the other artifacts since i don't want them to nerf wailing skull but maybe make the rest better maybe like five skarlet hunt a very small chance to cause bleed alongside the damage increase, or make frigid flame take longer to get to full 33% damage increase but after you reach them you don't lose stacks at all and as the fight goes longer your heroes get stronger, Realm tear damage increase is very small and gets weaker the closer the enemy gets to you since most of the fighters are close combat or deal more damage if they are in melle range of the enemy.
Lastly neither of those artefact is good for guild boss they either lose the effect or the melle tiles are so close you get nothing out of them. For me most of them are just stat sticks you put on fighter and nothing more than that since the effects are to specific. What do you guys think

totally acceptable choice! for most content though he will want lunacy visor. but for content where you want him dead quick like gr1, eye of sin is strong. and crest of thunder is baby version
