      The fixed blade is off and on carry lately. There are only two mags, one in the pistol and one in my pocket. The Leatherman is a must have, in my opinion.

    • @448videos
      @448videos  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s small and unobtrusive on my belt or in my pocket, and it’s come in handy a few times. I just feel comfortable carrying it.

    • @448videos
      @448videos  ปีที่แล้ว

      So, my review is based on my specific experience with the items in the video. Accordingly, my experience with the Leatherman is that it has come in handy a few times and for me, once again my opinion, it is a must have. I’d rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. I don’t see the inconsistency, but if you do, please feel free to not include it in your EDC kit. I’m not endorsed by Leatherman, and it was not provided to me by Leatherman for the review. Everyone should carry what they believe is necessary to them.

    Nothing wrong with .32 ACP Berretta, I've carried .22 shorts all the way to .44 magnum. In my late teens it was a .32 colt black powder revolver, in my 20's a .22 Jennings, .25 Raven then a .38 special Rossi onto a 9mm Tokervev. These days I still carry NAA .22's, .380 Ruger LCP2 and Kimber .380, 9mm Glocks and a .45 Glock. The important thing is use the gun and get comfortable with it! I've been shot with a .22 long and a 9mm they both hurt just as bad!

    @448videos Just one thing to let you know. I have worked in certain security fields for many years and at times I still carry a similar pistol like that one you have but in .22LR. The .32ACP and that pistol you have is 100% fine for self-defense. You'll hear a lot of crap from other so-called expert guys out there talking about how .32ACP is too weak or that pistol you have is wrong to carry for self-defense.. Know all of that is B.S !. The main thing is again as long as you train with it, it is fine to use for self-defense and many guys out there don't know what they are talking about.
    I also rather shoot .32acp in my house against an intruder rather than 9mm that will over-penetrate walls and go thru my neighbors walls, regardless of hollow points. Being able to conceal such a small firearm that you have is always what you want as you can maintain a low profile... Let face it.. Nowadays there are so many people on the left that get scared if you hold a banana like a gun. Many of the same guys who talk smack also think that they can have a ar-15 or carbine in their vehicle and not get stopped and confiscated in a crisis situation which is also FALSE.. Small and concealable again is the correct mindset in any situation or no situation at all. Have a great day.

    • @448videos
      @448videos  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      100% agree with your statement about training with it. You will always fall back to that in a stressful situation, and being able to properly employ a tool such as a firearm is more than half the “battle”. I feel extremely comfortable carrying this pistol, in this caliber.

    Just a lil thing, I think the sheath for the Esee 3 is actually injection molded plastic or something like that, its def not Kydex though

    • @448videos
      @448videos  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I believe you are correct. ESEE identifies it as “molded”, but I tend to refer to all these types as kydex. I will keep this in mind for future videos.

      The 3 is an awesome knife that can handle batoning, chopping and feathersticking. I got the 4HM for Christmas, and it handled those chores even better. If you’re looking for EDC, the 3 is the way to go in my opinion. The 4HM makes for a great outdoor knife when concealment isn’t a factor.

    My choice for a pocket pistol would be the 0.380 cal Ruger LCP Max with its Tritium night sight and 10 & 12 Rd mags. Your flipper knives are good choices but the Leatherman (I had one for over 30 years) is inferior in every way to a Victorinox Swiss Tool & for a day-to-day pocket carry multi-tool I prefer a Victorinox Swiss Army knife such as the 91mm Huntsman or a larger one with more tools such as the 91mm Ranger or the 91mm Handyman

    • @448videos

      I’ve carried the Ruger LCP, and it’s a great little pistol. I passed it on to my daughter when she turned 21.
      I’ve never carried any of the Victorinox Swiss Army tools. I’ll have to look into the models you listed. Thanks for the suggestion!

      @@448videos It's your call obviously, but as a fellow EDC afficionado, I really feel like I should point out that a fully loaded 13 shot Ruger LCP max 380 with night sights weighs *less* than an unloaded Beretta Tomcat 32. It's also flatter and costs less.
      But it's your dime brother! Having some gun is better than no gun.

      All good, brother. I’ve actually carried the LCP and really liked it. It was my EDC pistol for the longest time, but I passed it on to my daughter when she turned 21 and was living on her own.
      I’ve started mixing up the daily carry lately…I’ve put the Glock 26 and 43 back into the rotation as my EDC pistol. Check out the Shorts I’ve recently posted on them when you have a chance!

    Do you use a slip for your extra mag?

    • @448videos
      @448videos  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Howdy, and thanks for the question! So, I have a Techna Clip universal magazine carrier that I use when wearing jeans that have deeper pockets. When I wear jeans or shorts with shallower pockets, which has been the case lately, I just put it in my pocket. This has worked just fine, and the mag remains in the position I prefer…rounds down and flat side to the right for ease of indexing in my left pocket.
      I purchased the Techna Clip on Amazon for about $20, and it works great when I use it.
