This video is super timely. I have self published 5 books, but was recently thinking about reaching out to traditional publishers now that I've established myself. I'm now encouraged to give it a try.
You are lovely to watch and listen to whatever excellent information you care to share with us. Are you sure you don't have elvish blood? I am convinced you are half-elf, except without the pointy ears. But then, you might have: are you hiding them? And regarding acorns, that is the main prize in a race between the animals in my rewrite of Old Mother West Wind, a 120-year-old American children's classic, which I have revised for British children. In the original story, the prize was hickory nuts; but there's no such thing in the UK. So in my rewrite, now named "Old Mother West Wind Tales", it's the last acorn of the season. Thanks again, I never miss your videos.

Why not just self publish.
