With most rods I see reviews on being designed for overweight fly line, what's a good 8wt rod for the new Backcountry fly line, being true to weight? Ideally in that $400-$700 range.
Thanks for watching. Feel free to reach out to Brian or the folks at the shop directly and they will be happy to help. That's what they do! You can e-mail them or call them....info in the video description or on the website of course.
@@Madriveroutfitters Gee's, my one wish is for Orvis to make the 8'6" 6wt "Limestone. I had one, and I considered it to be the best graphite trout rod Orivs ever made. Mine grew legs and walked away! I sure will buy a super fine, I am in the market for a 3 wt.
Thanks for the heads up

Do you know are those Superfine's will be two piece rods like in old times? Why 5wt was legendary, Brian?
@ Please send any and all questions directly over to Brian at the shop. He’ll be happy to help! You can email him or call him. Thanks!
The silver label 8’ 1wt is one of the finest rods I’ve ever cast. I wish the new 1 and 2wt rods could be longer than the last version
Does anyone actually buy Euro Nymph line? Stop the madness!!
@@dpmulvan Yes, we sell a ton of them.
The XP is awesome for reds. It shoots like a bullet. Minimal back casts, or 0 back casts. It works.
