This is a masterpiece! Its art! Its depth! And a good beat! So many important messages hidden all over! One of the messages is not to be superficial… Text, act, Latin with Serbian, vibe, visual stage performance by washing hands, which may be interpretated as avoiding and skipping responsibility in a deeper conection!!! ITS JUST SOMETHING ELSE!!! A gift to modern world!!!💖Serbia was responsible for the creation of the modern world by giving the world brilliant minds, and one of them invented electricity! Today pointing out the problema of the modern world and just giving a gift with best wishes, to become better individuals, and love ourselves and take care of each other!!! GO SERBIA, GO WORLD! HVALA!!!💖

The song is satirical and random on purpose, it has many layers and many messages, but the main one is about people being obsessed with their physical health while neglecting their mental health which is being hurt in the process. We in Serbia are very proud of her and this Art 😁

I love it! …lyrics and act could be understood in many ways, but basically: as a society we have managed to build unhealthy construct/cult from a health itself (beauty magazines, advertising…) forgetting the actual importance of health and failing to provide healthcare for everyone; so we end with scared and sad individuals in healthy fit bodies; and in the end she asks “so, what do we do now?” - we need to rethink our approach to health both as individuals and as a society

This is sooooóóo good!!! 👍 This isn't an usual la,la,laaa Eurovision song, the audience need brain to understand this metaphorical meaning.
    BRAVO KONSTRAKTA 👏
There are more than 2-3 different, important topics and even more interpretations.
    1. Megan: Rich people/ contrast in lifestyle, "beauty", their artificially and us, ordinary people on the other side.
    2. Washing hands: in Slavic nations it emphasises how the "authorities/governments" "washing hands" or not taking responsibility for the wellbeing of the ordinary people (water washes everything/every dirt from their hand/authorities hands).
    3. Last 2 years & Covid-19 measures, people were locked at home, directed to wash hands/face etc. in order to keep themselves healthy but at the same time them 5 people in dark clothes standing & watching?! These are the authorities.
    4. "Let the heart beating..." we are actually left alone, nobody cares about ordinary people.
    5. Find a video with English subtitles and read what is she singing in her last 3-4 sentences in Latin!!!! This is actually the finale..." ill/sick mind in the healthy body" = we became unwell/ill because of the restrictions during last few years...the ongoing lockdowns across the planet created so many mental health problems.
    6. Now after hearing/ understanding last 3 sentences, go to the beginning and start again... here come the rich people (Megan)... they can be "beautiful" ...bla,bla... but in the end copying them, celebrities makes us all artificial and we lost our mind, ourselves, we gave/sold our souls, our individuality because of copying various top models and celebrities. :)

1)The name of the song "In corpore sano" is in latin and it’s short from the latin saying "Mens sana in corpore sano" meaning "A healthy mind in a healthy body".
2)”What's the secret behind Meghan Markles healthy hair?” part refers to mainstream media constantly bombing us with different health tips that are usually there just to promote products and/or make us more insecure.
3)The part saying that our skin and hair show it all refers to people making assumptions about someone's health just based on their looks and emphasizing physical health while a person can look really good but have many mental health issues no one knows about.
4)Artists in Serbia aren't recognized as workers by law so they don't get free health insurance meaning they have to pay to be treated in private clinics which a lot of them can't afford including Konstrakta's former band member which died of leukemia cause he couldn't afford treatment. The first and second chorus are different. The first one says "An artist MUST be healthy" referring to international artists that get free healthcare, while the second one says "An artist CAN be healthy" referring to artists in Serbia and the healthcare system not caring about their well-being.
5)The part where she prays to god for health and says she puts her trust in her heart beating refers to her having to rely on god and her own body to regulate her health cause that's her only option being an artist in Serbia.
6)The part where she says the artist is invisible and it’s like magic refers to artists not being recognized by the government and the healthcare system.
7)The last part of the song is in latin and it refers to people prioritizing physical health and outside looks over mental health which is also very important.
Now let’s talk about the staging:
1)The obsessive hand-washing refers to COVID 19 and the importance of keeping your hands clean again massively talked about in the mainstream media while neglecting the impact the pandemic had on people's mental health. It also can be paying homage to one of Marina Abramovic’s (internationally known Serbian performance artist) performances called “Art must be pretty, an artist must be pretty” where she sits for hours combing her hair while repeating that cause she realized people focused a lot on her looks and her hair being messy and prioritized that over her art.
2)People standing behind her can be priests that pray for her health and/or are getting ready for her to die.

Thank you for such a detailed explanation of the song and the staging. I don’t speak Serbian so I was definitely just trying to interpret from what little I could understand from the translation of lyrics to the staging. Your explanation lets me know that I was on the right track in understanding, at least on the surface level, that this song was about health. I thought it might have something to do with mental health, too, but wasn’t sure if that was just me reading too much into the song beyond what the writer and artist intended. I really like the sound of the song and have listened to it on repeat after first hearing it which is why I looked up the lyrics to begin with. The staging I thought was intriguing and I’ll admit that when I first saw it I wasn’t fully sure what was going on, but I couldn’t stop watching because I felt very involved with the performance. I felt like there was definitely a message there and I wanted to keep watching so I didn’t miss anything. Knowing the deeper meaning of the song just makes me love it more! So thank you again for sharing all this information about the song and the staging! I appreciate it so much!

This song has multiple layers. It is hard to understand for many. But who understands it knows that this is a high quality song, not a mainstream sh***t. Konstrakta is a musician that makes her own music and lyrics, she is genuine. So about a song, one could say that this song promotes health awareness ( many musicians in Serbia and worldwide doesn't care about their health, they overeat and get fat, smoke, drink too much, do hard drugs like a cocaine, ecstasy, heroin, they do not sleep much, etc.) And she sings about signs on the skin and hair that are indicators of poor health and various serious diseases. Also she mentions a mental disorders that are consequence of living a such life. And she states that a musician or performer must and can be healthy. Also she implies that some of performers does not have a health insurance (health card), and that they mast pay a private doctors to heal them, and many can't afford it. But all in all best way is prevention, live a healthy life and you will not have those problems. Slow down, do not chase money and glory, take care of yourself, take a walk in park with your dog, enjoy fresh air, nature, relax. That is all that you body and mind needs. Listen to other songs made by Konstrakta, in those songs songs she sings about class differences, living a life pretending to be someone else, not yourself, about people that are lost in present society, striped of they human and natural form. Heavy stuff, but good stuff. And music and lyrics are exquisite. Konstrakta and her music deserves much more attention unlike commercial, mainstream, folk music sh***t.

1)The name of the song corpore sano is in latin and it's short from the latin saying "Mens sana in corpore sano" meaning "A healthy mind in a healthy body"
2)"What's the secret behind Meghan Markles healhy hair?" part refers to mainstream media constantly bombing us with different health tips that are usually there just to promote products and/or make us more insecure.
3)The part saying that an enlarged spleen isn't pretty refers to people making assumptions about someone's health just based on their looks and emphasizing physical health while a person can look really good but have many mental health issues no one knows about.
The first one says "An artist MUST be healthy" referring tointernational artists that get free healthcare, while the second one says "An artist CAN be healthy" referring to artists in serbia and the healthcare system not caring about their well-being.

6)The part where she says the artist is invisible and it's like magic refers to artists not being recognized by the government and the healthcare system.
7)The part where talks about walking with dog refers to a law in quarantine where you can walk your dog only 100m from your home. There is other theory that she talks about 10k step you have to take to be healthy.
8)The last part of the song is in latin and it refers to people prioritizing physical health and outside looks over mental health which is also very important.
STAGE (it also have deep meaning)
1)The obsessive hand-washing refers to COVID 19 and the importance of keeping your hands clean again massively talked about in the mainstream media while neglecting the impact of the pandemic on people's mental health. It also can be paying homage to one of Marina Abramovic's (internationally known Serbian performance artist) performances called "Art must be pretty, an artist must be pretty" where she sits for hours combing her hair while repeating that cause she realized people focused a lot on her looks and her hair being messy and prioritized that over her art AND other theory is taht she describes medical person when someone without a health card comes for treatment. (they wash their hands of that person, as it doesn't exist).
2)People standing behind her are priests that pray for her health OR they are rippers getting ready for her to die.

So many layers in the song, but most important i think its covid19 terror in the world in the past 2 years - lockdowns. Constantly washing the hands(people around her representing WHO and their advices and madness) like we have never before washed our hands?! Part with the dog is related to lockdown when we could to leave the house only to take a walk with the pets and only for 30 minutes per a day. Last part is related to consequences of the last 2 years. And moree, but this is the biggest messages for me so far.
Also for a moment behind here is Ukraine flag with virus made of the fingers, meaning that we are switching from one madness(corona) to another(war), constantly bombed by fear from mass media, and our mental health is suffering because of that.

It is a metaphor. She represents health system which washes hands (denies responsibility). Pontius Pilate washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person (Jesus). He was washing his hands of the responsibility. Whole stage is a metaphor. "Metallic voices" and robotic movements with hands represent estrangement - dehumanization. During performance there's no emotion on her face. She is like robot. She walks her dog. That is another sign of estrangement, proof that our civilization is on verge of extinction. It is sad that dog became man's "best friend". I remember times (I am 67) when my best friends walked on two legs. Music is, also, descriptive. After "I do not have health insurance" there is GP and rhythm (heart beat) stops and there is a "cuckoo" musical effect symbolising psychotic episode - travel to "parallel - alternative world", something like "alternative truth" as Donald Trump said. At the end there is sequence of semi-tone steps upward in music called "tonal jump" used to elevate tension towards climax: "So, now what"? Very well done. Do not take everything literary.

  • @milanradenkovic6029

Some of the theory: Calling on God for health is a clear allusion to the fact that, with such a wrong and hypocritical approach to human health, prayer to God remains or becomes the only hope. Along with God, according to the verses of the song, we can also rely on the autonomic nervous system and the fact that we breathe and our heart beats without our will, by itself. This is a message that nails the view that our lives are absolutely not dependent on this dehumanized system. The system they present to us as the exclusive owner and protector of our lives. Serbia's song at Eurovision is pure subversion of the New World Order. Intelligently packaged in a seemingly occult, demonoid ambience, it actually reaffirms humanity, a strong and calm mind and a soul free from despair:
Mens infirma in corpore sano - Weak mind in a healthy body
Animus tristis in corpore sano - A sad soul in a healthy body
Mens desperata in corpore sano - Desperate mind in a healthy body
Mens conterrita in corpore sano - A frightened mind in a healthy body
The endless chanting of the mantra about a healthy body is destroyed by enumerating the weaknesses of the mind and soul from which no health can be born. The final verse of the song "and what are we going to do now" is a jargon of common sense cold shower which was poured over the mass media propaganda about a healthy body without a healthy mind and soul.
"In corpore sano" by Konstrakta (Ana Đurić) is not the first song in which she deconstructs the religion of the new age. Her song "Neam Šamana" is a highly aesthetic mockery of New Year's quasi-sectarianism, fashion and cheap substitutes for spirituality. Watch the video, listen to the words and then return to "In corpore sano". You will find many more subversive elements, especially in the stage performance. This year, something "completely confusing" is coming to them "from Serbia with love". Someone arrives who speaks their language but sends strange messages...
"How will they follow me - All in the name of health, How they will care for me - all in the name of health" + Ukraine's flag & Covid sign together.

    Konstrakta says :
"I don't have health ensurance" was emerged like lot of people are most recognized. On the other side some people connect that with Covid and the whole situation even that wasnt my basic meaning. Probably there is satiation with all about Covid and presure to be healthy. For now I see that these two things is most stand out. There is so much more themes .Also there's no intention, its simple some process of thoughts on this topic and start with that chaos in media and that infosphere about health that point out on "Hair of Meghan Markle" which is mentioned like something that is really important and passing by atmosfere that "Artist" and all of us must be healthy, thats presure and like that is something most wanted and top value in life and a bunch of trends that is in that field and also that question, do I have a support of system ?
Do I have health ensurance ?And option that you can be healthy if you make a distance of all that pressure to spending endless examination and supplements etc. On the other hand there is frase on Latin with two sides. At first, there is a body that is a base of consummation and second psychologically healing "I sta cemo sad (So now what)" ?
Mens infirma in corpore sano(A sick mind in a healthy body)
Animus tristis in corpore sano(A sad soul in a healthy body)
Mens desperata in corpore sano(A desperate mind in a healthy body)
Mens conterrita in corpore sano(A terrified mind in a healthy body)
In this moment I see that like a new area of consumption. Stratification all state of psychology and finding cure for all psychology condition which is background of consummation.

Contrary to witty, it is actually a very serious work of art that calls for deeper reflection. It doesn't matter how you fare in the competition. The Internet is already glowing, and that is the purpose of art. You need to listen a few times from the beginning and your eyes slowly open. A refrain is a kind of mantra that we need to listen to every day to make our mental health better. Sound is the cure and therapy for this gloomy society of today!

I'm from Serbia. The choreography can only be understood if you're familiar with the orthodox Christian church tradition. The guys that she is surrounded with, with the towels around their necks and with the vessel filled with water that he pours on her hands and later she dries her hands with the towel the second guy has, is the picture from the Holy Archiereus Liturgy, the Liturgy that is served by the bishop or the Patriarch, so the head of the Church. So, knowing this it is easier to understand that this is the criticism of the Church. She is referring to the hypocrisy of the Church members, I guess those the most respected ones. Greetings from Serbia! ❤️

    • @kljajabgd
      @kljajabgd 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Nobody who knows what he is talking about says that, only the people who read the mention of Marina Abramovic and assumed it was about some sort of plagiarisum. What is actually being said by people who are familiar with the art scene is that she did an homage to Marina’s art performance from the 70s where she continuously combed her hair while screaming “Art is beautiful, the artist must be beautiful” in response to being called out by a journalist for her looks. (Having bad hair, not dressing well and having a large nose to name a few).
It’s not even a hidden message, Konstrakta said herself what inspired the concept for the performance. That is how most people found out about it.

HVALA!!!💖
