As a former editor, I'd like to point out the sheer brilliance of all the graphics and visuals. I cannot imagine how long this high quality, well researched video must have taken! The part that most interested me were the economics sections, and what exports made Seattle what it is today. I can really see this series going far, and I can't wait to see where it goes.
The sheer amount of research and editing here is mind blowing. As a european who's into football and randomly picked the 49ers as their favorite team I started hating Seattle out of principle without even knowing how nice it is. This was a real eye opener. I like the new vids and hope the algorithm figures out the right people to show it to asap. Looking forward to the other episodes.
Oh hey I can see my apartment multiple times in this! Very cool. Just a couple thoughts on the video (that you definitely didn't ask for): - You did a really good job of picking a starting/next topic and then flowing into whatever came next. I mean, it's chronological history but you chose the delivery. - Put an EQ on your voiceover track to boost the low and high frequencies, while keeping the mids the same. This sort of video really needs that "podcast" sound for the narration. - The intro is way too much info all at once, for 2 minutes straight. It's like trying to drink from a fire hydrant. Maybe cut it almost entirely and jump straight to the pre-Seattle section? - The humor-to-information ratio is perfect. Love your little quips and 2-liners you sprinkle throughout the video Sorry I just couldn't help but think all this while watching. I personally might've done some things different, but this is your video so f*ck all that. I just think this is the kinda stuff creators wish they'd hear more from viewers. Really really good work man.
