Uncanny timing, just started a role with an approved vendor for a FAANG company, and this helps flush out my own framework on our exploratory project. Will report back in a few months for how it goes 😅👏
So helpful! I’m still in the process of building out my portfolio but I can envision a future where I’m in the UXR role I’m aiming for and starting my day to day. 🤞🏼 Thanks for helping me manifest this!
Hi I had a question! I have a BA in anthropology and minor in Psy. Do you think that minor counts to add to my resume. In your opinion, would you think having a BA in anthro be beneficial towards UX Design or UX research. I find UX design so interesting but I am debating given that the most common route with a anthropology degree would be to go with UX research .
In short, degrees don’t matter that much. If you want to be a UXD/UXR, relevant project experience is the most important. watch this vid: 2 brutal facts about becoming a UX Researcher others won't tell you th-cam.com/video/e8qnWHWZ-aM/w-d-xo.html
I started a new role as a UX designer. Even though I'm not doing research specifically, these tips will still help me tramendiously with my onboarding process. Thank you so much for this!
Aona, your shirt is EVERYTHING!!!! 💕

Thanks, Aona. I can see how some of these points could be relevant during some of the interview phases as well.
This video comes right on time after your senior vs junior UXR video helped me land my UXR job!
