All these 'gamble with your life' horror games that have come out recently have been scratching the mad itch I've had ever since I watched you play RE7's 21 DLC and I LOVE it!! Hope this trend continues for a little bit, seeing how creative people can get with these concepts is a blast. Thanks for uploading this!

Man, John's luck was so good in the first half and so rotten in the second! The rounds at 48 and 54 minute marks! I really enjoy games like this and 21 too, and the sound design in this one is especially good. The story through the tapes sounds like it's off to a good start, very SCP Foundation which I don't mind, but I like the scattered stories they're doing and I can see them getting creepier as you go.

I'm cracking up at the the arguments in the comments section on bread rolls vs biscuits. I would not have expected this under this video. Contributing here, I'm just gonna say people are gonna have to experience the well-known Red Lobster biscuits, Church's honey biscuits, or Popeye's biscuits to know how different they hit compared to a bread roll, LOL. Biscuits and gravy is soul food.
Anyways, interesting game! It's definitely similar to the roulette game, but the stakes feel much higher and the results each round put you on the edge, especially if you get it wrong.

I was just thinking how much this game reminds me of Buckshot, I think it's given ground to a new genre of roulette horror; feels like an evolution of the FNAF formula (resource management, looming threats, time limits, etc.) while capturing the gritty feeling gambling for and against your own life in the hopes of maybe making it out alive. The rules of the game and it's story, where it exists, is all show and no tell and left up to the player to figure out. I'm glad it's getting recognized and picked up by big players, I had one hell of a time with this one for sure

Probabilities… For fascinating math reasons alone (so, not to correct you): Probabilities for the individual rounds (by themselves) follow the expected cut & dry probability. However, even with imperfect RNGenerators (assuming they’re trying to be “fair”, when taking previous rounds into account (including rolls from ALL previous playthroughs, or as many as possible), probabilities do shift balance out the rolls. Effectively, adjusting the midpoint of the number range that you’re using in “over/under” by a 1 or 2 wouldn’t be insane.
Eg. If the number range is 1-30, and the number has rolled “above average” 5+ times in a row, and 14 appears, then I’d confidently choose “under”.

I'm sorry?? What British person is genuinely surprised by fluffy, buttery bread? I'm calling shenanigans, those people are pretending to be British.
Realistically yes, we don't have your biscuits, our closest comparison is a savoury scone in appearance only.
This is why I call shenanigans. Scones are buttery, and we have plenty of fluffy bread products. Bread is often _advertised_ as fluffy or soft as an appealing descriptor.
Since a biscuit seems to be described online as a layered, flaky, buttery pastry, it seems like a more dense filo pastry? Croissant-like? I've never had one so I've no idea

I'm wondering whether "scone" means something different in the US, like "biscuit" means something different elsewhere? Because I've heard people describe "biscuits" and they sound like what I know as a scone, and then they say "no a scone is completely different"... so I want to make sure we're all talking about the same thing when we say "scones".
For example I've heard Americans say that scones are always triangle shaped? I've never heard of triangular scones in Australia or the UK, so I have to wonder if they're even the same thing to begin with.
I have had American biscuits at a restaurant when I visited the US and, besides being served with gravy as part of a savoury meal, they seemed very similar to the scones I know and love. That said, my mother was born and raised in the US so it's possible that the "scones" I grew up with simply blurred the line between the two baking institutions.

american scones are different than british scones, but british scones are still completely different from american biscuits. so no, they're not the same scones, but the point stands

I was under the impression that Southern "biscuits" *were* scones? I learn new things every day! I guess if I ever have occasion to cross the pond, I should try some, or make my own, sounds like I would like them! As to the British rant, the only bit I object to is your impression of the accent, there's so much of us that is worthy of pointing fun at, I feel like people bristle because of the "self righteous American" archetype, and unlike with our fellows, it feels mocking rather than familial, if that makes sense. Sometimes bothers me, sometimes doesn't, but John getting into one sided arguments with the comments, pre-empting any comment I was planning on making, I just find funny

If you opened a scone and it was soft, buttery layers instead of hard*, it'd be similar! Hard outside, soft inside
Edit: I guess scones aren't necessarily hard inside, maybe I didn't get a good one 😂

I had an American scone in LA, and it was good... But very different to a British scone.
I think savoury British-style scones are reasonably close to an American biscuit. A scone seems have more crumb and less fluff than a biscuit.
Fuck. Now i want cheese and chive scones.

Bread and gravy isn't new to us. You have to know that. Like, literally one of the most popular things to eat for lunch for manual workers (construction etc) is hot roast pork/beef sandwiches/cobs/baps/rolls and the meat is always in gravy. Usually with the options of stuffing, apple sauce and mustard (among other things). This bread and gravy concept isn't new to us.

As another commenter said, pastry and gravy is hardly new territory for us. We've got Yorkshire puddings and gravy, we've got baps/cobs/rolls with meat and gravy, it's nothing unique.
What's shocking at first mention is that we hear "biscuit" and think "sweet" by association. No one's actually surprised when you clarify it's a savoury bread product

this is just going to become a thread of Brits insisting that, actually, nothing surprises them lol
but yes, biscuits and gravy is classic. Kimmy and I insist on taking international visitors out for two things - southern biscuits, and Texas BBQ. Two must-eats

@@JohnTwolfeoh no, I was definitely surprised when I first heard of a biscuit and gravy! Then when I was told it was savoury I said "oh, like a Yorkshire pudding?" and got my arse roasted for saying 'pudding'
