Mark Williams is a very clear speaker. I particularly like the part about enthusiasm no helping, and “You don’t have to like it. You just have to do it.”

Mark Williams is a great scientist that makes it easy to understand very difficult concept about important themes like depression and suicide and how to cope with these great issues. I read some of his book on MBCT and it’s amazing how clearly he explains things, in a rigorous also in a sensible way. There are many videos in which he speaks on youtube, I suggest to watch them, they are extremely insightful and he transmits a sense of a good natured man that cares with a scientific method about the well being of persons and society. As for the book I recommend also The Mindful Way Through Depression: Freeing Yourself from Chronic Unhappiness.

Thank you for posting this. Such a shame it has such low views...hopefully that will change. I heard it b4 during the summit , but it is gold and reveals new nuggets each time.

A person with delusions can get rid of them practicing mindfulness?
