- Roger Eno is a British composer and musician whose distinctive style as a recording artist has attracted a cult following. His album, The Turning Year, is set for release on 22 April 2022.

In this video for the album’s title track, Eno’s melodic solo piano is underscored by a beautiful string orchestration -witness the interaction between the players recorded at Berlin’s legendary Teldex Studio.
The Turning Year allows the listener to step through Roger Eno’s looking-glass, filled as it is with free-flowing, affecting compositions. These pieces are exquisitely realised by Eno as pianist and he is joined on some tracks by the lauded German string ensemble Scoring Berlin. With a blend of recent compositions and live favourites from Eno’s concert repertoire, the album offers a comprehensive presentation of the composer’s solo work. “The Turning Year is like a collection of short stories or photographs, each with its own character but closely related one to the other. These pieces allow us, perhaps, to think on how we live our lives in facets; how we catch fleeting glimpses, how we walk through our lives, how we notice the turning year.” - Roger Eno

For me this is a very moving piece.
it was 1992 and I found Roger Eno's Voices on cassette @ Looney Tunes on Mass Ave for 2.99 . I was working At Boston Public Library and living in South Boston. Leaving for work I put the cassette in my Walkman and walked home. The Music and the landscape so went together making the journey unforgettable . That winter I walked home everyday and was forever in Awe of Roger Eno and the power of his music
