It's gonna be great when things like this become more common, that means someone like hacksmith will probably make one the actually looks like the one from avatar
1) It seems to me that the horizontal arm span at shoulder level is limited by the walls within the cockpit. 2) I feel the whole body balance of a two feet robot requires coordination of upper body arms in larger/faster movement, especially on non flat surface. Well, great effort indeed.
Now if they took that design and improved the tracking, extended the cockpit to support a full grown man to stand, created a way to track the leg movements, and added a treadmill like pad underneath the pilot to walk AND THEN coated the outer frame in a Gundam esc design, every 90's kid would drool.
That is why I'm very fascinated about this! Think about it, in a few decades or centuries humans will be using this and the games where you get to be big robots walking on mars can be a reality. Games and movies aren't really all that games and movies if you think about it!
When they perfect the basics it will just be a matter of changing the materials and refining this project. Then in 20 years time we will have an avatar robot. This is the future.
Wait. It cost $8.3 million? Now I don't know if development costs are included in that figure but for comparison, an M1A2 Abrams battle tank costs approximately 8 million dollars to make. I'm just wondering how would that thing look if they put let's say 200 mill into making it.
that is amazing! I just can't see alot being able to stand that swaying motion it uses to balance itself. I understand why the motion is used, but it looks incredibly awkward. I know its a milestone, an improvements will be made... but still. I want to see it jump lol.
pointless using this for the army. army has non manned killing machines. no need to put humans in harms way. people getting killed in wars looses elections.
this design is just nice for cosmetic purpose.. it is not advise to carry any payload. it is very unbalance due to the hand proportion is too large and the shouder joint pivot is too high.. great work.. just dun hurt urself
That asian inside looks very confident. He knows what he is doing. He is controlling gigant robot. Wanna know why he is confident? Their nation prepared for this work in anime, manga, etc. So they know theory and its just for fun for them to train to control this Robot. Now imagine army of such asians inside this robots (let's say 100 or 500) is attacking your city. And they like show no emotion like this dude. Hahaha can we protect??
Succ Attakk Yeah but nobody ever wins in a nuclear war, which is why I think it's dangerous for the US to do nothing about DPRK. Too bad we can't just send a bunch of robots to wipe DPRK out without them getting a shot off.
Not in your wildest dreams jeagers are literally impossible to make some metals would literally melt under that amount of pressure and even if we somehow managed to make it strong enough the movements would be SUUUUUUUUPER slow it would either move fine but super slow or move super slow and then fall and there is no use for jeagers not even in construction and also stuff like drifting is not possible (*yet*).
Ok put a VW engine on it's back to run a generator to run all the electric motors and get it working a lot better and faster. if you remember the movie all those robotic suits had gas motors running them. lot's of love.
Not very surprising America doesn't really focus on things they can't weaponize easily otherwise we would have thorium based ICBM's. T.A.L.O.S, Rail-gun, and I.D.S is a good example of what 90% of R&D profit is going into atm.
but what good is it if it can't take a grenade blast or if that glass can't withstand more than a couple shots it's definitely not military grade at least by our standards, it's honestly just a novelty
I would like to thank the ones that actually took the time to check out my channel and subscribe
Much love for you guys ♡
How's there nobody inside in the first part
so... when we will go to pandora?
Hopefully never.
They punched each other in the development team and now everything is effed
It's gonna be great when things like this become more common, that means someone like hacksmith will probably make one the actually looks like the one from avatar
That's one small step for a robot, one giant leap for robotkind.
ohh look same mech in the Avatar movie
thats dope
Still a long way to go, Gipsy Danger!
What we see in the movies are possible to create. Nothing is impossible.
1) It seems to me that the horizontal arm span at shoulder level is limited by the walls within the cockpit. 2) I feel the whole body balance of a two feet robot requires coordination of upper body arms in larger/faster movement, especially on non flat surface. Well, great effort indeed.
+canzo0378 Don't you want them to improve? I appreciate their effort and I wish them to improve the robot.
i really want a real mecha
Dont we all my friend?
yeah
If we biuld

Snazzy!
Very like the Avatar Mech indeed... But this one couldn't walk through a forest...
And both would last 3 mins on an actual battlefield!!! :D
This is cool as shit! i didn't think we were actually working on giant robots. 👏
That is why I'm very fascinated about this! Think about it, in a few decades or centuries

Also please to SUBSCRIBE! :)
Berkzy HD already have sir ;)
that 59th sub is me
Thank you! You really know how to turn me on

nice graphics
Nightspyz1 it's very real
I don't see the application as a war machine. But it can be used in space or deep sea exploration.
wayneyd2 Or giant fighting robot league between countries like America and Japan
Just put some machine guns and cannons..
Let's go there in person to check it out. Are you down?

While this'll obviously serve commercial purpose, I'm curious as to the pros and cons of military applications.
Pro: Big scary robot
Con: walks at 0.33 miles per hour
Pro: Nerd Cred
Con: probably can't handle a gentle hill
Leave the hills to Sahelanthropus.
pointless using this for the army. army has non manned killing machines. no need to put humans in harms way. people getting killed in wars looses elections.
pointless putting a guy in a suite like this. it needs to be remotely controlled.
Wow 👌👏 that mech is amazing ❤
MOBILE SUIT GUNDAMS WHEN!?
titanfall is real
Titanfall 3 confirmed
Standby for Titanfall! god i love saying that..
I want say this.... Awesome
this design is just nice for cosmetic purpose.. it is not advise to carry any payload. it is very unbalance due to the hand proportion is too large and the shouder joint pivot is too high.. great work.. just dun hurt urself
Maybe we could get real life battle mechs soon? Probably not. Still it's nice to cherish that thought at least. One can dream....
Future Is Now. Nothing left to imagine.
“Hey, Sully. How does it feel to betray your own race”
feels good
The robots project name is Method-1 if anyone wants to research it. Pretty cool
Why is there such noticeable latency within the arms?
So, then to have a machine that moves as quick as you it would have to predict your movements?
add Boston Dynamics walking gaits and that thing will be much closer to fully functional.
That's a brilliant idea
It's easy to picture a dystopian future, but I think it's being developed for another planet/planetesimal.
Where is the waist swivel
Up next, Indian Mecha
An amazon robot? Is there free delivery?
so i guess my great grand kids will be apart of a real life gundam wars one day.
the beggining of the future ,ow i mean welcom to the future
From avatar a robot kills a tiger easy
They can control the arms, how about the legs and feet🤔🤨😐
...but can I ride one into battle?
They need to make something like this for the military
Goliath online!
If this world had a good power source , this thing would've went to war .
THE FUTURE IS COMING INTO REALITY... wait that doesn't make sense...
3:30 that's cool
That is soooo cool 👏 ✌👍
Cant believe this has not gone viral! A video I uploaded only a few days ago has 3 times the views. Makes no sense.
AMP Suit IRL
I though this guy was about to be slapped by the robot 05:36 !!!
That asian inside looks very confident. He knows what he is doing. He is controlling gigant robot. Wanna know why he is confident? Their nation prepared for this work in anime, manga, etc. So they know theory and its just for fun for them to train to control this Robot.

awesome ! what a beauty !
interesting to have a mech robots, we can saved the
world yeah.... hehe
Maybe there could wrist a
Rotations
anyone else curious why the metal is so superficially glossy when the arms are moving..
Gavin Louden
Design and lighting :)
Also Wtf is superficially 0_o
Transformer , Gundam
Titanfall is coming guys
Front mission????
Looks like Epic How To needs a little update.
Imagine if the thing could walk faster and we gave it a XO-16
Reminds me of the mechs from Avatar
why .. ? What's the application?
lifting heavy load with accuracy maybe ?
Wouldn't a crane be more efficient for that? This thing looks heavy and unstable. The main application I see for this is entertainment
Metal gear
Gundams are coming
The beginning of the founding of Anaheim electronic
But, can it withstand a North Korean nuke?
Russell R. pfft, those are just bottle rockets compared to what America has.
Succ Attakk Yeah but nobody ever wins in a nuclear war, which is why I think it's dangerous for the US to do nothing about DPRK. Too bad we can't just send a bunch of robots to wipe DPRK out without them getting a shot off.
We can directly use it in AVATAR 3 😂
avatar
mobile suite gundam
mji420 what's your favourite mobile suit in the franchise?
WAR ROBOT
Let's see how long it takes them to militarize it...
00:43 should be programmed to swing its arms. Looks more natural and I think It aids in balance.
Virgil Goucher the foot is made to swing so there is no need for its arms to move plus it doesnt move fast anyways.
At this rate, we'll be able to make giant robots as advanced as the ones in the pacific rim.
And sorry if I crushed your dreams
Don't forget not to do facepalm in this robot as your face is smaller than robots face and you could...
I want to Amp suit Ask and shall receive
Standby for tighten fall
Gonna be a while before I can get an attractive robotic dancing partner, who doesn't hang from the ceiling, HUH?
million dollars to this truck ....
Darling in the franxx?
Coming to a Police Department near you.
Ok put a VW engine on it's back to run a generator to run all the electric motors and get it working a lot better and faster.

well it's a fastest giant humaroid robot.
real avatar!
今のところ最もフィクションのロボットを実現してる、すばらしい
M.i.t General dynamics eat your hear out...i can't believe they got cooler more useful robots than us ..this is cazy U.S.A
Not very surprising America doesn't really focus on things they can't weaponize easily otherwise we would have thorium based ICBM's. T.A.L.O.S, Rail-gun, and I.D.S is a good example of what 90% of R&D profit is going into atm.

Who the fuck said it's for military purposes??? Is violence and killing all you can think of? You need your brain checked!
