    Flies just like my 2nd hand Airfoilz Extra 260! Very nice flying.

    Great review. Can't wait to get mine. It's supposed to be here this week.
    I'm excited that it uses the 3s 2200 batteries.
    One thing I can suggest on a safety note. I try not to get used to having my hands and arms in the prop arc when plugging and unplugging the batteries. One turn of that prop can seriously injure you.

    Great review of the FMS MSX V2, looks like a real winner and fun plane to fly. I know it isn't your normal flying place because it has all those plane eaters that TJ hates.

    Great flying, have always liked the looks of the MXS and it seems to really twist if you toss the sticks, Jeff in Lower AL USA

    I bought this plane last November and sold it this summer. Found it to be a very capable aerobatic plane: rapid roll rate, great knife edges and even good at hovering. But I was hoping for a more capable 3D plane. This plane could not harrier without severe wing rocking, even after trying spoileron / reflex mixing. I was flying without any stabilization, however, unlike you.

    Hey guys, compliments to you on your new videos they are a lot better than this one! lol…
    and I just noticed it’s kind of strange the way that airplane flies because I also have one and it flies amazing! it actually almost flies like the RV-8! I am very impressed with it, … shockingly impressed. I did not expect it to perform as good as it does. Just throwing that out there. Sharing the info. Good luck on your new videos.

      There is learning curve on making & editing videos. We're definitely better at it.
      This is a good plane. TJ probably has 100 flights on his. For its size, it's a great flyer

    It flys tail HEAVY!

      Yes it does, its the style of plane. Still very controllable & a lot of fun.

    Hello 👋. While landing, try holding elevator still and adjusting your throttle . Think you will like the results.

    Ive got one, and does seem to be a bit squirrely. It might be nose heavy ?

    • @dsrcplanes
      @dsrcplanes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We also think a little tail weight would help it from being so pitchy.

    Keep a really close check on BOTH aileron servos!!! I had, (HAD) 2 that the right aileron servo failed after 6 flights. 1? OK. 2, not a coincidence!
    & landing gear is extremely flimsy🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

      I had the yellow one several years back and I had a pilot with 30 years experience maiden it and he could barely handle it and almost didnt get it down in one piece. I put it up and never tried to fly it for several years because I knew that I could not handle it without completely destroying it. Then after playing with it for a long time on the ground I discovered that the alireon serves moved too freely and that the airflow off of the prop was causing it to fly way too crazy. So I wnd up putting a gyro in it and used some hot glue on the ailerons hinges to stiffen up the surfaces so the ailerons did not move so freely from the prop airflow. After doing the mods the plane flew great and was controllable the plane lasted for about 3 years until it was not repairable. I would buy the green beer version but I am afraid that I have the same issue as I had with the yellow version. If the servos are stiffer now I would buy it, but i dont want to take a chance again on the fluttering of the ailerons servos and surface controls of the ailerons. The fluttering also occurred on the elevator servos and control surfaces due to loose movement. All of the servos moved to freely on the whole plane.

      On this particular plane, we have not noticed any flutter on the surfaces. typically those flutters go away once in the air.

    Does it have SAFE?

    • @dsrcplanes
      @dsrcplanes  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has FMS Reflex V2. That has 3 modes similar to spektrum Safe/As3x Technology. 1) Self-Leveling & Gyro. 2) Gyro only. 3) No artificial input, You are in full control.

      @@LemurSk377 if you using a spektrum transmitter, I suggest using the AR620 Receiver in the plane.

    • @xtremerpxl
      @xtremerpxl ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@LemurSk377 Planes come as the following: ARF = almost ready to fly , RTF = Ready to fly, PNP = Plug in Play, BNF = Bind and Fly. This plane is PNP meaning it requires a receiver to be installed. I think all FMS planes are PNP

    Making these videos it’s not for everyone lol… With some proper training and learning some techniques you guys could probably pull it off. Nice try tho!
