@@LuccianoNova We use £ instead of $. £1 = $1,26. When we get scammed, we lose more per unit because the British pound is stronger than the American dollar. I hate scammers. I love keeping them on the line and making the waste their call.

Okay, so many years ago we started getting calls looking for "Brenda" or someone. (I can't remember.) There is no "Brenda" in our circle of family or friends, I have no idea who "Brenda" is. I told them so. On the FOURTH call looking for "Brenda" within a couple of days--mind you this is in the day of landlines--I told them "Yeah, hang on." I put the phone down and went about my business. A little while later, maybe 30 minutes--I came back and said, "hello? Oh, Brenda didn't pick up? Wait. She's in the shower." I put the phone down again for another half hour. I came back and asked if "Brenda" picked up. When he said that she hadn't, I yelled into the phone, "That's because she doesn't FUCKING live here" and hung up.
If you're going to waste my time I'm going to waste yours. We didn't get another call asking for "Brenda."

In my experience I've seen many people overreacting by the so-called "filthy words" an my oh my when I actually saw the true self of those people and all the awful things they had done, one of them is actually in jail. So what a great person you must be.
I received multiple calls for Julie, (from I'm guessing her boyfriend). After several days of saying "I'm sorry you have the wrong number," I said "she's not here. She ran off to Las Vegas to marry that new guy she's been seeing." No more calls for Julie.
Can any Budweiser security personnel confirm whether anyone has ever turned up at a Budweiser factory to collect the cards?

The thing that amazed me the most is that at some point you were close to burst laughing and you still managed to voice act like a boss.

I did that to a scammer once...I acted all confused as to how I could get them their money. Had them going for awhile. Then I suggested that I give their money to the police, because the police would know where to find them...then the call suddenly dropped! So weird, right? Lol I love getting these calls.

I just did that tonight. Scammer is trying to be a stove I have listed on Craigslist. He wants to send a cashiers check with a little extra added to it for the courier service that is picking it up. I used the name of our police chief and my address is the police station. Let them figure it out.
