    Mam Do all unsaturated give yellow flame and why even though sufficient amount of oxygen is available ?

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for your comment! The answer to your question is yes - all unsaturated hydrocarbons are likely to give a yellow flame, even when sufficient oxygen is available. The yellow flame is due to the presence of certain elements like nitrogen, sulfur, and other elements that can be found in unsaturated hydrocarbons. We hope this answers your question, and we hope you find our videos useful!

    Why there is no proper mixing of oxygen atoms with the vapour of wax?

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your comment! We appreciate your interest in our educational videos. The lack of proper mixing of oxygen atoms with the wax vapor is due to the fact that oxygen atoms are heavier than wax vapor and thus, their movement is slower. We hope this explanation helps you understand the concept better. Keep watching our videos for more educational content.

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation

      Hi there! It's great that you are learning about the properties of different hydrocarbons. Unsaturated hydrocarbons are those that contain double or triple bonds between carbon atoms. As the combustion of wood is incomplete, it would indeed contain some unsaturated hydrocarbons. We're glad to have been able to help you out. Keep up the learning!

    Mam why are covalent bonded compounds not soluble in water
    Whereas ionic strong compounds are soluble in water
    Mam water can break the strong bonds between ionic compound but why can't in covalent compound?

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! I'm glad you asked this question. Covalent compounds are not soluble in water because of the strong covalent bonds between the atoms. These covalent bonds are so strong that they cannot be broken by water. Ionic compounds, on the other hand, have weaker bonds between the atoms, which can be easily broken by water. I hope this helped to clarify the difference between covalent and ionic compounds.

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for your comment! That's a great question. Unsaturated carbon atoms can't burn completely because they don't contain enough oxygen atoms to react with all of the carbons. This causes an incomplete combustion, which is why it's important to make sure your fuel has the correct air-to-fuel ratio. I hope this helps!

    Ma'am here in the reaction
    C4H10 + 13/2O2 = 4CO2 + 5H2O + heat and light
    Ma'am why before oxygen 13 as well as 2 is written?

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you for your question! The number 13/2 indicates that the reaction requires 13 molecules of oxygen gas, which are composed of two atoms each. Therefore, the equation requires 26 oxygen atoms in total. I hope this helps explain why 13/2 is written in this equation!
