When I hear this I remember when my character got tired and almost fainted, and I felt like the song got higher in pitch and felt myself feeling all guilty XD
Sofia B lmao whenever that happened, i got really creeped out by the music so i either instantly ran to buy a bodigizer/turbojolt or i went to sleep just so that music can go away :’D
This track reminds me of when I got my first Harvest Moon game when I was 12. I had read the manual for weeks because I had broken my DS charger and was currently waiting for a new one to be shipped. But when I finally was able to play, I still barely knew anything about the game. I set up the game with my cousin, but we couldn't understand why we couldn't find the file with the name "Mako" (I was a huge Legend of Korra fan; still am). Eventually my cousin figured out the whole Save Shebang, and I was SO happy that we didn't have to go through the six-minute long intro again. When I hear this track, I remember all my funny little beginner experiences: I was so confused when the game sent me back to bed at 6:00. I thought the ore mine was behind the waterfall, and I spent loads of in-game hours smashing at the giant boulder, trying to get it to crack, while the actual mine was like ten steps away. I got lost right near the beach, and couldn't find my way back to the farm, even after looking at the map. I quickly decided to go after Lumina, and I was so excited when I found plain curry powder by the supermarket phone. I wondered if I was supposed to feed my pets, and I was terrified that they were going to die because there wasn't pet food. I knew nothing about heart events. Then I found Fogu.com, and they saved me.^^
Ah, sweet memories of discovering the best ways to completely break this game's difficulty... the Legendary Sword and all of the uncursed tools by Spring 3rd of year 1: it can be done!
Ahh, the memories, I remember that I never even got the sword or the blessed tools, didn't know how I was honestly terrible at the game, but I loved it so much

The tired version of this song is terrifying.

I just wish I could find the track where it's night and you can hear the owl hooting and the river swishing...I used to always fall asleep from it
This makes me want to play it again...

This has become so nostalgic already. . Fuck how I miss the old games
There is no video game series on the planet that creates nostalgia like Harvest Moon.

kinda sounds like zelda skyward sword and then the forest music
I know what you mean. it reminds me of faron woods.
Fiddlesticksmeow yes Faron Woods!!
Zelda music and harvest moon music are quite similar, dont you think
Fiddlesticksmeow yea, same makers? Same style? Both piano like? Idk
yeah, the mix of piano, percussion and woodwind makes them sound quite alike!
