My thoughts exactly. My first manga from him was Solanin, which I read blindly at Barns n nobles cuz I love the slice of life genre and have read plenty, but I was not prepared for actual tears. Inio Asano does a great job of portraying the raw brutality of a mundane life but overall I think it's safe to say he is really good at ripping your soul out of your body lol
I’m waiting to finish off a few series before taking a ride on the Punpun train but I’m just so excited to read it as heard it’s simply incredible! Another great video brother, keep it up! ☺️🤘
I have the first volume of What a Wonderful World sitting on my Kindle waiting to be read. It will be my introduction into his work, though I’ve seen a lot of them at the bookstore.
As someone who is trying to get into Inio Asano I appreciate this video. Lowkey Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction seems the most interesting to me lol
TeeBry its certainly not the most accessible but it’s great after its initially slow start! I saw you were getting into Shuzo Oshimi too ! Great choice 🤘🏻
Great video again, I’m pretty new to Manga so it’s great getting some recommendations. I added a couple from both of your videos on my wishlist. Look forward to more videos!
Yes! Thank you for sharing! Manga is one thing I need to get into. I have maybe 2 manga pieces on my shelves. This is so helpful as now I have a specific manga author to look into and have options on his different work....see what spikes my interests. Not just someone suggesting a series I should read. More choices to pick from! Could it have been The Calgary Comic and entertainment expo that you got that from ? (Calgary Comic-com)??? Great video!
From the moment I started reading Oyasumi Punpun till the ending it was an amazing read although it made me sad but t was still great and thats why I like Inio Asano as one of the best Mangaka
@@GOZES it was part of the Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF) so kind of like Canada’s comic-con. So at the time I ordered it from Canada 😅 I’m sure you could find it elsewhere online but I deffo haven’t seen it in UK shops. Sorry I couldn’t be more help ! Maybe try bookfinder.com ??
inio asano is by far the most influential person that inspired me to create comics, I love the realism yet cartoony his works are.
if you're interest, just type my name on google and you will see some comics I already did, and my comic called "Dopamine" is inspired by inio works.

Hello, if you wanna do some book tags on your channel. I’ve done quite a few of them if you’re interested on doing any content like that.
Where did you get the solanin epilogue chapter?
