The 15-20 minute nap is the most impressive thing to me, it takes me at least that long to fall asleep. Especially in the middle of the day. Teach me your ways!

man just 1 advvice from me to you.To avoid early ear problems.Throw away these in ear stuff and buy over ear.If you dont want early tinnitus that is.With much love Chris.

@@yourfriendintech No need to thank me.It should be fine if you have adjusted your volume to low or medium .But generally this type of earphones push the wax in the ear canal and accumulates .In the long term this creates hearing problems.I know this company is famous but the people's health is more famous :)

Thanks! She's not a software engineer, she works in marketing! And yes, I can definitely can make a video on how I got through my Google interviews
I was gonna recommend maybe buying a divider so that you guys can have your own space but I did not realize the desk was in the bedroom so maybe if you want you can divide the bed as well but hey, what do I know.
Yeah, unfortunately our NYC apartment was a bit too small to have our own space but we made it work! We live in the Bay Area now

Did you go to school to learn software development or bootcamp or self taught? You’re working for one of the FANG Fortune 500 companies. Is it true, long hours are expected working at google? I’m sure the perks and benefits are worth it, but wondering if you could share.
Great questions! I learned how to code in college, I majored in computer science. I personally do not work long hours, ~40 hours a week. Google is a huge company, so work schedule definitely varies by team

The content you provide is amazing good luck I have a question if your bear has time to answer it, I am now studying software engineering and I would like to ask what are the things that I should develop myself more, because the education where I am is not that good, and I really want to become effective in this field and get good offers for work
Replied to your other comment but I'll paste it again here for anyone else reading: As a software engineer it's really important to know common data structures and algorithms. Aside from that, I recommend you take what you're learning and apply it to a real project that you can build yourself. This way you will learn a ton and then you can add it to your resume as well

It's not a problem at all - takes less than 5 minutes lol! You deserve someone who will make the bed for you

I use Gmail keyboard shortcuts, you can enable them in Gmail Settings

Do u think it is possible to work as a programmer and combine it with studying another career, laws for example?
Definitely possible, one of the reasons I wanted to learn how to program was because of how applicable it is to every industry. As an example, one of my professors was a consultant in law cases where they helped determine if there was any copyright infringement involving code (or something similar, the details are a bit fuzzy). Or you could write an app involving laws, etc.
My cousin worked as a programmer in law school. Not sure for what company but after failing as an environmental lawyer he went IP using the programming experience. Went from making like 40kish yo over 200k. Def possible and also seems to be a good decision.
Edit: IP is intellectual properties. He went IP law.

I actually did not have to interview - I started at Google as an intern, and my performance in my internship was enough to receive a full time offer!
